Hollywood And Beyond Reacts To The Tragic Loss Of Chadwick Boseman

We were still struggling to cope with the dump truck fire that has been 2020 (and like, the dump truck had a ton of used diapers and raw meat in the back) when we learned of the passing of Chadwick Boseman last night at the ridiculously young age of 43, after a private battle with colon cancer. Now, Hollywood and the rest of the world are reacting to the news and sharing stories of their experiences working with him.

Reactions have come in swift and powerful––from politicians like Barack Obama and Kamala Harris. But also from friends and co-stars, all of whom seemingly have nothing but sweet things to say about how the humble and tireless Chad was the embodiment of strength, fighting terminal cancer over the past 4 years while still managing to make 7 (SEVEN!) movies.

And as if all this isn’t sad enough, a clip from 2018 has resurfaced showing Chadwick talking about the significance his Black Panther character, T’Challa, had on kids around the world––specifically, two boys named Ian and Taylor, who, like Chadwick (though unknown at the time), had terminal cancer. This video hits harder now.
