Carole Baskin Might Be In The New Season Of “Dancing With The Stars”

The new season of Dancing with the Stars will start on September 14, so it’s about that time to start hearing about who may do the social distance salsa for a check. We already know that Tyra Banks is the new host and executive producer after both Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews were told to do the GTFO shuffle out the door. Sources are now talking to E! News about the casting of the 29th season (!!!) and there are a few potential “stars” including accused husband murderer Carole Baskin who got famous from Netflix’s Tiger King docu-series. You know Joe Exotic is fuming from prison because he wanted to be the one to shake his ass in sequins for money and camera time. But hopefully, Carole uses the opportunity to bury the hatchet with Cardi B by performing a waltz to WAP.

The new coronavirus-era DWTS will be a bit different than usual. Many changes have yet to be announced, but at the very least it’s likely there will be no in-studio audience. Also, the pros will quarantine separately from each other, even if they’re married, which some are. The show does have a positive new addition unrelated to health regulations, and that’s Britt Stewart–who is the first black female professional dancer the show has had in 29 seasons.

On top of 59-year-old Carole, 42-year-old Backstreet Boy Man, AJ McClean is also in talks to join the show. AJ has talked about getting “prepared and ready for what’s to come in the next few weeks” on his Instagram but didn’t get into specifics. He said:

“A lot of surprises from me. I can’t tell you guys exactly what yet, but I’m doing this for two reasons. One, to get in the best shape of my life and to be healthy and to be happy, physically and mentally and emotionally, and there’s something else coming up. Can’t tell you what it is, but believe me, you’ll know why based on that.”

So he’s most likely a contestant. Chrishell Stause, who is from Selling Sunset and is Justin Hartley’s ex, is also in talks to participate. And Anne Heche who recently did Chicago P.D., The Brave and Quantico is in talks too. Kaitlyn Bristowe from The Bachelor has been confirmed as a cast member. The rest of the cast will be announced next Wednesday, September 2 on Good Morning America.

Sources also said that 79-year-old medical expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, was approached to join the show but declined. Thank god, because this pandemic still needs him and him being cast would’ve been a stupid and inappropriate stunt. But hey, Tyra is an executive producer now, so that’s probably going to happen more and more.
