Rose McGowan Claims Alyssa Milano Made The “Charmed” Set A Toxic Space In Latest Twitter Feud
Charmed? More like…the opposite of Charmed (whatever that is). Continuing to completely shit on any hopes of a Charmed reunion, Rose McGowan took yet another swipe at Alyssa Milano, accusing her of, among other things, allegedly creating a completely horrible and toxic work environment for everyone. Rose didn’t really elaborate on what exactly Alyssa is supposed to have done, but other cast members have already come out with their own version of events.
Now, I never watched Charmed, but holy cow! after years of horror stories and so-and-so wouldn’t speak to so-and-so on set, this mess of a show sounds like it’s worth reconsidering. But the latest Twitter tussle between Rose and Alyssa happened after Rose went in on the Democrats, saying that they’ve done nothing for poor people or people of color or single mothers or children, etc. Rose also called Joe Biden and the Democratic National Committee frauds and monsters. That’s when Alyssa, who backs Biden, jumped in and tweeted a list of things that Democrats have done for the country.

And then it got into Rose calling Alyssa the Ellen DeGeneres of Charmed. According to TV Line, Rose publicly accused Alyssa of stealing #MeToo from activist Tarana Burke and co-opting the movement for her own fame. Rose then did a complete pivot and randomly brought up Alyssa’s alleged shitty behavior on the set of Charmed.

Holly Marie Combs, who played Piper on Charmed, tweeted back at several fans about the feud and kept it very neutral and let’s-just-be-friends-y. That is SO Piper of her:

Shannen Doherty also said some words. Shannen was in the first three seasons of Charmed (from 1998 to 2000), and she supposedly left because she didn’t get along with Alyssa. (Rose replaced Shannen in season 4 and stayed on the show until it ended with season 8.) Shannen didn’t take the opportunity to also go in on Alyssa. She directed her words at the fans:

Many on Twitter were on Team Rose and that’s why #AlyssaMilanoIsALie trended. I’m sure this isn’t the end of Rose v. Alyssa because they both have the time, and if this was their way of trying to get MTV to bring back Celebrity Deathmatch, it’ll probably work!
