Open Post: Hosted By Senator Tom Carper’s String Of F-Bombs

And this was a different f-bomb that got that sportscaster fired.

Many people scream “fuck fuck fuck” over what’s happening to the US Postal Service, but during a hearing about the Postal Service yesterday, Senator Tom Carper blew out a string of f-bombs for a different reason. Senator Carper delivered an f-bomb party after going up against some pepaws’ greatest rival: technology.

We all know the importance of clicking and DOUBLE CHECKING that the mute button is set when hopping on a video call. All of us, that is except for Tom Carper. The senator from Delaware accidentally dropped some cusses while trying to join the Senate hearing with Postmaster General Louis DeJoy. When it was time for Tom to speak, Senator Ron Johnson, who led the hearing, called on Tom, who didn’t immediately answer. Assuming that he had left the call, Ron skipped him. Tom struggled to unmute himself and got caught spewing FUCK FUCK FUCK on camera, seemingly unaware that he’d been caught.

Ron did that nervous laugh while scratching his neck, saying “We don’t want to be on TV again.”

By the looks of it, Senator Tom is doesn’t seem into all of these new-fangled gadgets like Zoom and whatnot. Fortunately, he had a younger masked person to swoop in and save the day, and then they all picked up their delicate ears and continued on with their discussion. But honestly, talking politics, if there are no FUCKs in the conversation, did a serious conversation even happen?
