Judging from the photos from their latest charitable outing, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have enthusiastically embraced the #FreeTheKnee movement. According to Page Six, on Wednesday, the couple hooked up with a charity called Baby2Baby, “a nonprofit organization that provides supplies, diapers and clothes to underprivileged children in Los Angeles and disaster areas” and handed out supplies at a drive-through event in South L.A. Now, clutch your heirloom pearls, secure your powdered wigs and hold on to your top hats because both Meghan and Harry wore shorts! Yes, Prince Harry showed his knees in public. It’s the former royal equivalent to wearing a string bikini to a charity car wash.
While I’m sure the sight of Harry’s porcelain gams has filled some people around here with many a lusty spank bank deposit, we can’t be sure if that was Harry’s only reason for shedding the slacks. Page Six says it was very hot out. So Harry’s practical AND erotic. And Meghan is obviously doing it to thumb her nose at Kate from across the pond like “tights are for girls on government assistance, m’kay?” Here are some snaps from the event. Tag yourself, I’m the Rorschach sweat stain peeking out from under Harry’s mask.

Baby2Baby was proud to host a drive-through distribution at Knox Elementary in South LA as students across the country return to distance learning this week. Thank you to The Duke and Duchess of Sussex for joining our team to help us distribute school supplies, clothing, hygiene items, food and more to children who need these basic essentials more than ever during this unprecedented back to school season.
It’s great that Meghan and Harry are bringing attention to worthy local charities like Baby2Baby.
Baby2Baby Co-Presidents Norah Weinstein and Kelly Sawyer Patricof said in the release, “We are so grateful to be onsite during the most unique back to school week in history distributing school supplies, backpacks, hygiene, clothing and food directly to children and families who have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19 and are struggling to afford the basic necessities they rely on school to provide.”
The last time they were out getting handsy with the people they volunteered at Homeboy Industries baking bread. That outing coincided with the news that they had signed contracts with the Harry Walker Agency for speaking engagements. This outing comes just days after the news that Harry’s looking to get into the business, possibly in front of the camera, and that the couple had recently been shopping a top-secret television project around Hollywood. For the Homeboy Industries event, Meghan and Harry brought their own photographer and lent HBI their pictures for promotion (possibly because they still don’t have their own social media in place yet). But this time the pics are shared by B2B with no photo credit. Perhaps them loosening their grip on their charitable endeavors is an indication that their pivot to video is imminent. But before I’m ready to see Harry’s closeup, I’m going to need him to get those knobby knees a little closer to George Hamilton in July (Pantone 4054) instead of Pardon Me But I Am Wearing A Shirt, It’s Just Very White (Pantone 423).
