As the never-ending saga that is Meghan Markle and Prince Harry (and what they actually do now that they threw up deuces at the idea of being royalty forever) continues, we’re still managing to catch a few more glimpses into their no-longer-public-life. And this time, Meghan is spilling her thoughts on how moving back to America amid quarantine and the general dumpster fire situation, Harry has clearly had his fill of avocados and sunburns because he apparently hates everything about Los Angeles and couldn’t wait to take his ass to Montecito instead.
According to People, Meghan reached out to Emily Ramshaw, co-founder and CEO of The 19th, and asked to be part of the organization’s virtual summit, which also included speeches from Kamala Harris, Meryl Streep and Hillary Clinton. The two discussed, among other things, Meghan’s decision to return to L.A. around the time of the Black Lives Matter protests following the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and others.
“To come back and to just see this state of affairs, I think at the onset, if I’m being honest, it was just devastating. It was so sad to see where our country was in that moment,”
“If there’s any silver lining in that, I would say that in the weeks after the murder of George Floyd, in the peaceful protests that you were seeing, in the voices that were coming out, in the way that people were actually owning their role…it shifted from sadness to a feeling of absolute inspiration, because I can see that the tide is turning.”
She even subtly went in on Donald Trump’s messy ass, talking about the importance of voting –– something that she DEFINITELY plans to do in November –– and even drops the bombshell news (to me, anyway) that Prince Harry has never been allowed to vote in the UK.

Speaking of Harry, Us Weekly claims that Los Angeles was just not Harry’s cup of tea.
“Meghan visited Montecito in her teens and fell in love with the picturesque scenery and stunning architecture,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “Moving there was always an option, but to begin with, she and Harry wanted to give Los Angeles a shot. Unfortunately, Harry absolutely hated it — the timing was so wrong amid the [coronavirus] pandemic and they lacked privacy.”
I mean, who can blame him? All that sun can really fuck up his delicate and fair royal skin. Not only that, but they left L.A. in July after apparently crashing on the sofa in Tyler Perry’s Beverly Hills mansion. Every time Harry opened up the hall closet to grab something, he probably saw Tyler’s Madea’s boobs hanging there and it either stirred something in his loins or freaked the hell out of him, so he was ready to go. And Harry and Meghan probably didn’t like sharing the pap stroll with the likes of 14-year-old TikTok millionaires, beauty YouTubers, and worse, Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas! Apparently, Harry wasn’t listening when Lindsay Lohan offered up her valuable, paparazzi-dodging advice
