Clare Crawley Of “The Bachelorette” Has Been Replaced With Tayshia Adams After Finding Love
Not only did coronavirus mess up The Bachelorette’s new season and turn it into a quarantine edition with filming happening solely at a gigantic luxury resort in La Quinta, CA, but now original lead Clare Crawley has apparently found love a lil’ too quickly. So she has been replaced with Tayshia Adams, a contestant from The Bachelor. And I expect this total non-stunt to end with Clare and her new love hopping over a fence before running off into the sunset together.
Clare is the oldest Bachelorette pick ever at 39 years old, which basically means she’s mummified. But the joke’s on ageist shits, because she got engaged too fast! E! News said multiple sources have told them this season of The Bachelorette will be a twofer. An insider said 29-year-old Tayshia has taken over Clare’s spot since Clare has already found sweet love:
“The producers have told her that the season will still lead with Clare and her short-lived journey, and will show Clare falling in love with one of her suitors. Clare will then conclude her journey and announce that Tayshia is the lead.”
People who follow Reality Steve have known about this for a minute, since last week, he mentioned a Reddit post that floated this rumor. Steve also suggested Clare and the man she allegedly ends up with, Dale Moss, were talking before the show.

People heard from a source who confirmed to them that Clare and Dale are together:
“One of her potential guys found a way to get in touch with her and they began talking. By the time filming officially began, they were basically already in love. No one else stood a chance. It just became so obvious from her subsequent few dates that her heart wasn’t in it and she just wasn’t feeling it. Then she said she wanted out.”
And since ABC is going to milk this lukewarm scandal, another source said this:
“There’s more to the story than just [Clare] falling for someone and not wanting to see what else could happen with other men.”
Clare also liked and unliked a tweet saying that Tayshia will be a great Bachelorette, which is further proof she’s out as Bachelorette because they take your phone when you’re on the show. And Tayshia hasn’t been seen online since July 30. Reality Steve is sure that the Tayshia rumor is legit:

Oh well, at least this saves us from all the cougar-references the show was probably going to put Clare through. And two black leads in one cycle of The Bachelor shows?! That’s some progress! But I don’t want too much progress. Let’s keep it trashy. I still need the drama. If one of Tayshia’s roided-out pieces doesn’t throw a fit because he’s told to wear a mask while they go for a walk, I’m going to be disappointed.
