Trash Can Bear!
Around this time last year, I paid tribute to my kind of bear (well, my kind of bear is the kind who actually answers me when I message them on Grindr but that’s neither here nor there) who snatched an entire dumpster from a weed shop. Well, today’s HSOTD is my kind of bear too, because he will gladly do the disgusting task of bringing in the trash cans!
NWFDailyNews says that Brett Longo left his home in Mary Esther, FL (that’s a hot town name, by the way) on Monday when his security system let him know there was activity on his driveway. When he brought up a live feed of his security cameras on his phone, he found what looks like to me, a very helpful bear doing a good deed by bringing in his garbage bin. But well, what that bear was really doing was helping himself to some goodies, because the can was full and he tipped it over before turning that bitch into his own personal Arby’s after skipping Brett’s wife’s lasagna:
“He was just bringing it up to the house,” he joked. “He was polite enough to move it out of the driveway.” His wife had thrown out some homemade lasagna the night before, which was passed over in favor of an Arby’s beef and cheddar sandwich wrapper. After he teased his wife about the bears not liking her recipe, he covered his tracks.
“It’s the best lasagna I’ve ever had,” he said. “Olive Garden better watch out.” Although they live in a part of Okaloosa County that frequently logs bear complaints, he said he hasn’t had a lot of bear sightings.
Here’s the bear who PSYCHED a trick into thinking he was actually trying to be helpful. I love a good switcheroo.
But really, if it wasn’t for that whole “is not a human and will maul your face off” thing, that bear would make the perfect son. My mom never brought in the trash cans and just left them out on the street all week. So she would’ve totally rather have that bear for a son instead of me. And that bear probably smells better too!
