Inmates Claim That Ghislaine Maxwell Is Getting Special Treatment In Jail (Shocking) And Past Court Documents May Be Unsealed Next Week
Ghislaine Maxwell was moved from a jailhouse in Rhode Island, the state she hiding out in, to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn instead of the Metropolitan Correctional Center federal prison in Lower Manhattan because MCC is where Jeffrey Epstein died and prison officials are apparently “afraid” the same thing will happen to her. Prison officials have reportedly put in place all sorts of things to make sure Ghislaine doesn’t kill herself or gets taken out by assassins hired by the powerful people she can (and will probably) name as partakers in Epstein’s sex trafficking ring. She’s been given a cellmate (and no, the cellmate isn’t a tiger), she’s been forced to wear paper clothes (and no, the paper clothes are not scented with sardine oil), her bedsheets were taken away, guards are reportedly watching her constantly, and she’s regularly moved from cell to cell.
And now the New York Daily News claims that Ghislaine and I guess her reported cellmate have an entire floor at MDC to themselves, and before she moved in, the other inmates were forced to polish the floors three times for Her Royal Trashness. So basically, that Ghislaine is already making friends in jail!
Ghislaine Maxwell has mouth-sharted out a not guilty plea to all the charges she got hit with for allegedly grooming and abusing girls for Epstein’s sex trafficking ring. Ghislaine was denied bail so MDC is her home until her trial, which isn’t scheduled to go down until July 2021. Ghislaine will have to force her cellmate to squirt water from a commissary water bottle up her ass instead of cleansing herself on the bidet of a luxurious Manhattan hotel suite in house arrest like she wanted, but the NYDN claims she is getting special treatment. They heard from one inmate and lawyers of inmates who claim that on top of having to get The Ghislaine Maxwell Floor sparkling clean, she’s also getting extra outdoor time:
The inmate, through her lawyer, said that detainees had never been asked to clean the usually empty second floor before. A few days after they had to polish it repeatedly, a woman moved in and guards told them it was Maxwell, the inmate said.
The inmate also said that while other women get two hours of recreational time per day, Maxwell gets three. When Maxwell gets rec time the other women are locked out of the recreation area, the woman said, and they can see her jogging in the outdoor space.
“We are all criminal defendants and should all be treated the same. I don’t mind Ms. Maxwell getting three hours of rec, but then we all should get three hours,” she said.
The sources didn’t say if inmates were forced to polish the floors with arsenic while wearing gas masks or if one of them was told to “accidentally” drop a banana peel next to a strip of spikes.
In other Ghislaine news, her legal team was trying to block the unsealing of depositions and documents from the 2015 civil lawsuit that Virginia Roberts Giuffre filed against her for defamation. Virginia has accused Epstein, Ghislaine, and Prince Andrew of sexually abusing her when she was an underage girl. The case was later settled and sealed, and it’s rumored that Ghislaine agreed to pay Virginia millions.
US District Judge Loretta Preska shit on Ghislaine’s request to block the depositions but is waiting until Monday to unseal the documents so that Ghislaine’s lawyers can ask an appeals court to hear their pleas. via CNN:
Unless an appeals court rules against it, the deposition and documents relating to it will be unsealed on Monday. Additional documents Judge Preska ruled on last week will be unsealed Thursday as scheduled.Those documents include emails and depositions by others, including Giuffre and anonymous women who also claim to have been abused by Epstein.In her ruling last week, she said that the public’s right to have access to the information carried heavier weight than the “annoyance or embarrassment” to Maxwell.
