Doja Cat Talked About Her Coronavirus Symptoms With Her Fans

Yes, fans as in plural.

Doja Cat is a mess, because she blatantly mocked the worldwide coronavirus pandemic back in March by questioning its validity. Of course, that’s when the virus immediately whipped its head around and whispered “Say less honey” before sliding into her body like a series of unwanted DMs. And although Doja believed she may have contracted it from a Postmates delivery (I know y’all, just bear with me) she’s now back to give her testimony in the Church of Twitter to discuss her symptoms.

Just in case you haven’t been keeping score, Doja Cat’s been facing backlash all year and has even come under fire for some really racist shit in the past few months. Whether or not she actually had the virus or is suffering from a case of not getting enough attention remains undetermined, but she has been very vocal about the symptoms she’s experienced. Entertainment Tonight Canada reports that now after her four day bought with COVID, she’s come back to Twitter with her tail between her legs and is answering questions about the symptoms she experienced:

Stop the presses! The fact that she couldn’t taste bacon would be punishment enough for me because bacon is #bae4life. Doja also admitted she didn’t experience respiratory issues and was never scared of the virus which is why she ended up contracting it in the first place. However, because Twitter is a high school cafeteria that makes the one in Mean Girls look like lunch with nuns, the ensuing tweets she received were filled to the brim with delicious shade as the Main Course.

The people I know who experienced COVID said breathing made them feel like they’d gotten kicked in the chest by a steel-legged horse, but again, Doja claims she didn’t experience those types of issues. But methinks that once she stops receiving attention for this, she’ll release a memoir titled Purr-fect Ignorance: The Doja Cat Story. And by “memoir” I mean an Instagram post with one paragraph and a photo of her rubbing Vicks on her chest with the cat ears and whiskers filter.
