The Palace Released New Photos Of Prince George To Commemorate His 7th Birthday

Just about the only member of the British royal family still untainted by scandal, Prince George, (Charlotte knows what she did) is celebrating his 7th birthday today. As per tradition, The Firm has released two new pictures of their Wholesome Employee of The Year via his mom and dad’s Instagram account. According to People, the camouflage t-shirt George is wearing in one of the pictures is a “nod” to his family’s “history of service in the armed forces,” noting that his Dad, Prince William, and his uncle, Prince Harry, both served as young men. That’s a lot to put on a 7-year-old kid who probably just likes the camo because it reminds him of boogers. Delicious, organic, sustainably harvested boogers.

According to People:

Two portraits of the young royal have been released in honor of George’s 7th birthday on Wednesday, and one shows him sporting a camouflage pattern t-shirt as he smiles at the camera.

The royal family has a history of service in the armed forces: Prince William was a pilot with the Royal Air Force Search and Rescue Force, while Prince Harry served in the Army for 10 years, rising to the rank of Captain and undertaking two tours of Afghanistan.

In addition, George’s great-grandfather Prince Philip is a former naval officer who joined the Royal Navy as a cadet just before World War II broke out, and grandfather Prince Charles served in the Royal Air Force.

Forget that brouhaha over ballet, George is into MORTAL KOMBAT now.

Here’s another shot of George taken by his mom, Kate Middleton.

He really is painfully adorable. Quarantine has obviously been good for him. No more waking up to find great-grandpa Prince Philip lustily eye-balling his veins while licking his parched and papery lips.
