Jeremy Renner’s Ex Sonni Pacheco Wants Him To Submit To Drug Testing

Jeremy Renner and his ex-wife Sonni Pacheco’s messy custody fight continues to be very messy (and no, that’s not a piss-test joke). Jeremy may be making a peace sign in that picture but things are far from peaceful with Sonni.

This latest development is related to Jeremy’s recent-ish claim that COVID-19 fucked with his career, and made it impossible to keep paying Sonni her $30,000 a month in child support. Jeremy and Sonni are fighting over their 6-year-old daughter Ava Berlin. Jeremy reportedly wanted that number dropped to about $11,000 a month, which he believed was a reasonable amount to spend on the needs of a 6-year-old. A hearing was supposed to happen regarding that change. The Blast reports that Sonni has asked the courts to reschedule the child support hearing until after she’s able to get her hands on some drug tests. Because Sonni wants to discuss any drug test results with Jeremy and his business manager before she agrees to a child support cut of $19,000.

Sonni has accused Jeremy of drug abuse before, like when she claimed last year that Jeremy was a violent gun-shooting coke head. Jeremy has accused Sonni of being a boozer and a partier. In February of this year, Sonni requested that Jeremy take a drug test. Jeremy claimed that all his tests have come back negative. Sonni wants to see the results, as well as any drug tests that have taken place since February. She also wants a current drug test administered by an impartial lab. Jeremy responded to the request, basically calling it bullshit, and accusing Sonni starting drama that isn’t there. via The Blast:

In his response, the actor accuses his ex-wife of creating a false narrative that he has a drug problem. He says he has voluntarily agreed to drug testing and the results are forwarded to their custody coordinator. The actor says the results show he is not a substance abuser. He calls her ex parte improper and wants it denied. His response reads, “there is absolutely no basis for this Court to grant the requested relief with respect to a drug test.”

That’s not the only test Sonni wants Jeremy to take. She also requested Jeremy get a COVID-19 test. Sonni claims that Jeremy isn’t practicing safe distancing at his home in Reno, NV. Sonni alleges that Jeremy frequently has “several young women” at the house all the time, and no one is wearing masks or worrying about staying six feet apart. This is allegedly happening while Ava is in his care.

The Blast points out that despite COVID-19 still running rampant, Jeremy’s payments remain at $30,000 a month. His lawyers released a statement saying that Sonni’s request is “one-sided with a specific goal in mind.” The goal most likely being: to prevent a court-ordered decrease in child support. Although to be fair, Sonni has also claimed in the past that Jeremy is “greatly exaggerating” how much child support he actually pays. And in her most recent court filing, she accused Jeremy of owing her over $500,000 in unpaid child support. Not only that, but Sonni has claimed she’s so hard up for cash, she doesn’t have enough money to pay her lawyers, or fix her toilet. Damn Hawkeye, at least give your ex-wife some cash to fix her crapper. She’s already got to deal with all of your shit, don’t make her also have to struggle with her own.
