The Rock Topped Kylie Jenner On The List Of Instagram’s Highest Earners

Just when I had all but given up on the world, Digital Information World swoops in to restore my faith in humanity. According to DIW, Hopper HQ’s 4th annual Instagram Rich List just named The Rock the most bankable celebrity on the platform, beating the previous year’s winner Kylie Jenner. Look I know it may not be much, but even an incredibly obscure and essentially meaningless list I’d never heard of before today proclaiming a decrease in Kylie Jenner’s appeal, is enough to keep me from sticking my head in the oven on this particular overcast Thursday afternoon. However, I’m keeping that shit preheated because I also learned that The Rock “enjoys a net worth of $1,015,000 per post” you know, as a treat.

According to DIW:

With the exceptional growth in his list of Instagram followers, The Rock dethroned celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Ariana Grande to reach the #1 rank from the sixth position he held in 2019.

Kylie Jenner – last year’s topper and the youngest self-made the billionaire of all time this year according to Forbes is on the second position for 2020. The American celebrity has an internet following of 181,500,000 and the price tag of $986,000 per post.

She is followed by the European footballer Christiano Ronaldo has a higher command of 224,800,000 followers. However, his posts are valued at $889,000, thus lowering his overall ranking on the list.

Rounding up the fourth and fifth position is the newly minted billionaire Kim Kardashian and singer Ariana Grande with a value of over $850,000 per post each.

You can see the entire list here, but this is the top 10:

  1. The Rock – $1,015,000 per post
  2. Kylie Jenner – $986,000 per post
  3. Cristiano Ronaldo – $889,000 per post
  4. Kim Kardashian – $858,000 per post
  5. Ariana Grande – $853,000 per post
  6. Selena Gomez – $848,000 per post
  7. Beyonce – $770,000 per post
  8. Justin Bieber – $747,000 per post
  9. Taylor Swift – $722,00 per post
  10. Neymar da Silva Santos Junior – $704,000 per post

So what is The Rock cooking that’s worth $1 million per post? Tequila soup! Since the launch of his tequila brand, Teremana, earlier this year, The Rock’s Instagram page has been wall to wall brand promotion with the occasional cheat meal pic (which used to be his bread and butter, and occasionally is bread and butter) thrown in for good measure.

George Clooney walked with Casamigos so The Rock could try to run but with them big ass thighs it’s more of a hurried lumber with Teremana. And right now, The Rock is hurried lumbering all the way to the bank.
