Princess Love Filed To Dismiss Her Divorce From Ray J

35-year-old Princess Love and 39-year-old Ray J reached some messy levels in their completely functional marriage, like when Princess accused Ray J of “abandoning” her in Las Vegas with their daughter Melody when she was eight months pregnant with their second child. Princess took the drama online (because attention doesn’t collect itself) calling out Ray J and asking for a divorce. And he went online too, claiming he was an innocent man and had just moved into a different hotel as his infant child and pregnant wife. Despite the public drama (private drama isn’t worth having) the very next month, Princess gave birth to their son, Epik Ray, and things seemed better between them.

But in May, Princess filed for divorce after four years of marriage, shocking the world! Just kidding. We were like, “Finally!” But the joke’s on us because it looks like there was yet another reconciliation, as Princess has asked to dismiss her request for a divorce. These two could write a book on how to squeeze the most attention out of a shitty marriage. Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard, take notes!

People says Princess filed for a dismissal of her divorce with the Los Angeles Superior Court. Apparently, a few weeks after Princess filed, Ray J was online talking about how he was “back with the kids.”

“Over these past few months, though, I’ve been at the studio locked in. I was at the studio right around when everything got locked down. Before I came home, I had to quarantine for 14 days. My wife has been supermom, and she wasn’t having that so she just wanted to make sure that I was good. We’re taking it one day at a time.”

Let me tell you, no one on Earth needs new music from Ray J, but his newborn could probably use some attention. Ray J also referenced celebrating Melody’s second birthday, calling it a “blessing” that they could be together. That was in late May, so Ray J and Princess might’ve gotten back together just days after she filed for divorce. Ray J said at the time:

“For us to all spend time together, talk and just be parents, I think a lot of things unfold from that. That’s a good start for us, just spending time with the kids and making sure that Melody has a great b-day. Through all of that, we can listen and understand each other. Right now we’re just locked in with the parenting. God is good.”

Well, Ray J and Princess are on a reality show, Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood, so they probably decided to work it out for the sake of their children that Vh1 check. And once they begin filming again and need another storyline, their divorce lawyers should expect another call from them. I mean, if reality stars don’t have an emotional divorce on camera, is it even legally binding?
