Kourtney Kardashian Quit “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” Because It Became Toxic

Became“?! And by “toxic” she doesn’t mean the fumes wafting off of her sisters’ melted PVC asses.

2020 has been filled with endless tragedies, however, one of the biggest one of them all is the fact that Keeping Up With The Kardashians is still on the air. And unfortunately, even during a pandemic, their Koven of cash cows continue to peek their heads out from behind quarantined walls to remind us they still exist. Earlier this year we were treated to the blandest staged fight in reality television history when Kourtney Kardashian and her sister Kim Kardashian came to blows over, honestly, who cares? Now Kourtney is giving more details as to what prompted the slap fest and blames it on how toxic filming for the show has gotten over the years.

Last year Kourtney said she wanted to spend more time with her children by stepping back from her role as an extra on the long-running shit show that plays in every torture room in Hell. Of course, this became even more evident after Kourtney beat Kim with her weak fists of weak fury during their Girls Gone Mild kerfuffle. Honestly, I watched that fight multiple times in awe with how much more invested shape-shifter Khloe Kardashian was in removing the makeup from her walls than actually checking on her sisters. Fast forward to a few months after quitting that boring bitch and Kourtney is now discussing the show with Vogue Arabia (via People) and she stands by her decision to stay away from the craziness of filming because it has become a hostile work environment after fourteen long years.

“I have been filming the show non-stop for 14 years,” she tells Vogue Arabia. “I was feeling unfulfilled and it became a toxic environment for me to continue to have it occupy as much of my life as it was.”

“Privacy is something I have come to value and finding that balance of private moments with being on a reality show is hard,” she adds. “People have this misconception that I don’t want to work, which isn’t true. I am following my happiness and putting my energy into that which makes me happy.”

Kourtney went on to admit that her sisters single her out as the weakest link often because of how she wants to live her life and she feels that, as a family, they shouldn’t do that.

“I don’t understand why there’s all this judgment about the way we each want to live our lives. We should be accepted for what we each want to do. It’s not a positive environment for me to want to be in every day when I feel like they’re so critical of me,”

Perhaps now that Kourtney has all of this free time she should revisit all eighteen million seasons of the show that made her famous and see where things went wrong. Actually, she doesn’t need to do that. If she really needs answers as to why her family has gone to shit she needs to pull out her phone and find the contact called MOM. Because the source for all their tragedy starts and ends right there.
