Mary Kay Letourneau Is Dead At 58

Mary Kay Letourneau, one of America’s most notorious child rapists (sadly a hotly contested title these days) has died. She was 58. According to TMZ, stage 4 colon cancer got her, but her perpetually delusional ass probably thought she was dying from an advanced case of True Love 4 Ever. I’m not sure where child rapists go when they die since I’m convinced that this is actually The Bad Place, but if there is a The Worst Place, perhaps she’s destined to spend an eternity there in perdition, age-appropriately married to Jeffrey Epstein.

TMZ reports that The Notorious MKL’s estranged husband, Vili Fualaau, was the first to report her condition.

Mary Kay Letourneau — the former teacher imprisoned after pleading guilty to raping her student, whom she later married — is dead after battling stage 4 colon cancer … TMZ has learned.

Mary’s now-estranged husband, Vili Fualaau, previously shared her stage 4 cancer diagnosis on Instagram, sharing a photo of himself wearing a medical mask with the caption, “Praying for a miracle.”

Her attorney, David H. Gehrke, tells us Mary Kay had been in hospice care for the past month, and Vili had been by her side … helping take care of her.

At the time of her death, MKL and Vili were separated. After initially announcing their split in 2017 (at the time, Vili told Radar it was so he could get a license to sell marijuana, him being married to a felon and all), they briefly got back together before separating once more in March 2019. Before that, they were “separated” by the state when MKL served 7 years in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of felony second-degree child rape in 1997.

MKL and Vili have two daughters, both of whom were born before Vili was 15. The New York Times reports:

Ms. Letourneau was a teacher in the Highline School District, near Seattle, where she taught Mr. Fualaau in the second and sixth grades. She was 34 when she began a sexual relationship with Mr. Fualaau in 1996, when he was 12 or 13.

They had their first child in 1997 as she awaited sentencing after pleading guilty to charges of second-degree child rape. After serving three months of a reduced sentence in prison, she defied court orders to stay away from Mr. Fualaau, leading to her return to prison for a seven-year sentence. She gave birth to their second child in 1998, shortly after beginning her second stint in prison.

Vili had his childhood stolen from him. Hopefully, now that his kids are adults, he can go on to live his best, long overdue adolescence, as a DJ and gentleman pot farmer.
