August Alsina Claims He Had A Relationship With Jada Pinkett Smith, And That Will Smith Was Okay With It

The rumors about Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith being in an open marriage have been around for so long. And that would be fine, because if Red Table Talk has taught me anything, it’s that Jada’s mom looks like an ageless hologram, and that Will and Jada have a healthy, stable marriage. And it’s a good thing their marriage is so steady, because August Alsina has come along and confirmed the alleged rumor that he was getting jiggy with Jada. However, August can talk as much as he wants, because Jada denies it.

Last year, 27-year-old singer August Alsina released a cover of Kehlani’sNunya,” as well as a corresponding lyric video, in which he heavily implied through a series of GIFs and hints that he was hooking up with 48-year-old (adjusted coochie age 18) Jada Pinkett Smith. One of the clues in the lyric video was that August was texting a “Koren,” which is Jada’s middle name. August also had appeared on Red Table Talk to say that the Pinkett-Smiths helped him with his addiction struggle, so at the very least, he’s close to Will and Jada. But according to August, he’s closer to Jada.

Page Six says that August spoke about his alleged relationship with Jada during a recent interview with The Breakfast Club’s Angela Yee. August claims that he was introduced to Jada by Jaden Smith in 2015, when August was 22, Jaden was 16, and Jada was 43. August became close with the family, and says he was invited on vacation with them in 2016, and attended the BET Awards with Jada in 2017. Here they are:

August and Jada certainly look like a couple, which might make one think the evening ended with an awkward Kitchen Table Chat with a suspicious Will. But August says that Will was fine with what was going on.

“I actually sat down with Will and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership…he gave me his blessing.”

And it wasn’t just a quick grab-the-grapefruit-and-go situation, at least according to August. He says he fell in love with Jada.

“I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really deeply love and have a ton of love for her. I devoted myself to it, I gave my full self to it – so much so to the point that I can die right now and be okay with knowing that I truly gave myself to somebody. And I really loved a person, I experienced that and I know what that feels like – and some people never get that in this lifetime. I know that I am completely blessed and this conversation is difficult because it is so much, that it would be hard for people to understand but – once it starts to affect me and my livelihood – I have to speak up about my truth.”

He claimed he wanted to expose the affair because he has lost, “money, friendships, and relationships” over it. He stresses his motivation was not to start drama. If you ask Jada – and Page Six did – she’d probably be side-eyeing everything, but especially the part about starting drama.

Reps for Pinkett say Alsina’s claims are “absolutely not true.”

So we’ve got a he-said/she-said-she-didn’t situation, and I have no idea how this mystery will be solved. Will Jada and Will sue August for lying? Who knows, but they might be a little tied up with bigger issues at the moment. The only thing I know for sure is that if August is telling the truth, then Will needs to work on a much more thorough screening process for his life partner’s side pieces. Like making them put their hand, or dick, on a copy of Dianetics, and making them swear that they’ll only use their mouth for kissing, and not blabbing to the press.
