Camille Cosby Is “Very, Very Pleased” That The Pennsylvania Supreme Court Will Hear Part Of Her Husband’s Appeal

Camille Cosby spoke to ABC News for the first time since her husband, Bill Cosby, was convicted of rape and went to prison. Camille is back and she has so much to say. She once again claimed that everyone accusing her husband is lying and that the #MeToo movement is full of shit and based on white women being historic liars about rape during slavery. It’s a lot and even though Bill Cosby will likely die in prison, she’s still standing by her man.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court agreed to hear part of Bill Cosby’s appeal, which was previously denied by the Superior Court. He was convicted of three counts of indecent assault and battery against Andrea Constand, and in his appeal, he claimed that his deposition in a civil case she won against him was not admissible because of a previous promise from former Montgomery County prosecutor Bruce Castor. Bruce promised not to come after Bill criminally, and he didn’t. The prosecutor who succeeded him did. The second part of the appeal is in regards to Bill’s admission of “prior bad acts” because he had admitted to using Quaaludes in consensual sex with women. This sounds like bullshit technicalities to me! But Camille is “hopeful” and “very, very pleased.” She’s the only one.

Kevin R. Steele, the prosecutor who brought charges against Bill Cosby, isn’t worried about the decision to hear those appeal points:

“The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has narrowed the issues on appeal, limiting them to prior bad acts and the sovereign edict. We look forward to briefing and arguing these issues and remain confident in the Trial Court and Superior Court’s previous decisions.”

Andrea commented on Twitter:

Camille said that the #MeToo movement can kick rocks and eat dust because she doesn’t give a fuck about any of them:

“First of all, I don’t care what they feel… The #MeToo movement and movements like them have intentional ignorance pertaining to the history of particular white women–not all white women–but particular white women, who have from the very beginning, pertaining to the enslavement of African people, accused black males of sexual assault without any proof whatsoever, no proof, anywhere on the face of the earth. And by ignoring that history, they have put out a lie in itself and that is, “Because I’m female, I’m telling the truth.” Well, history disproves that, as well, and gender has never, ever equated with truth. So, they need to clean up their acts. And it’s all of us as women who have not participated anything nefarious–we know how women can lie. We know how they can do the same things that men do–that some men do–because there are good men and bad men. There are good women and bad women.”

Good lord, I thought the Cosby checks dried up, but Camille, who many have said has a case of marital Stockholm Syndrome, is going on like the checks are still coming in. She also compared Bill to Emmett Till:

“The parallel is that the same age-old thing about particular white women making accusations against black men that are unproven–Emmett Till’s outcome, to mutilate his body in the way that it was, was just really so deeply horrendous… I mean–there’s a lack of words for that kind of hatefulness. But see, years ago, I interviewed the survivors from the Tulsa Oklahoma riots in 1921. And that was another case of a white female making a claim of sexual assault claim against a black male, which we all know if we know about the Tulsa, Oklahoma riots. It gave license to mobs of white people converging on a very independent economically independent educationally independent black community, named Greenwood and Topher, and hundreds of people were killed… We’ve seen them hanging from trees, once they make those accusations. We’ve seen them being incarcerated… those accusations are made and–once again–unproven. Unproven.”

I think, for Bill, the proving-part was the court conviction? I think that’s how we do things in society?

Camille also said Bill is coronavirus-free, so I guess that means he’ll stop trying to get out of prison because of it? While Camille talks to Bill every day she has not visited him in prison and doesn’t want to since neither wants her to see him “in that kind of environment.” But I thought he loved it there?! Is he not actually leading the Puddin’ Pop Gen Pop crew and running the prison with respect and authority? Poor guy.
