Kristen Wiig Is The Mom Of Twin Babies

June 18, 2020 / Posted by:

People magazine is reporting that Kristen Wiig and her fiancé of about a year Avi Rothman (they’ve been together since 2016) became parents to a set of twins, but also that they’ve been parents the better part of 2020. They welcomed a set of twins “earlier this year” via surrogate. Secret baby reveals – so hot this season!

These are the first children for both Kristen and Avi. There aren’t many pictures of Kristen and Avi together, but here they are with Leslie Jones in 2016:

Kristen might have actually dropped a hint about motherhood in her monologue from the Mother’s Day episode of Saturday Night Live last month. And at the time it seemed like a clue about her future baby plans. Who could have guessed that she was actually very subtly revealing that she already had kids? That might also be the first time anyone has ever described an episode of SNL as subtle. Especially an episode featuring Alec Baldwin’s opposite-of-subtle Trump impression. At the time, Kristen said:

“I don’t know if I truly appreciated my mom the first 45 years of my life. But this year I’m feeling especially grateful for her advice, her love. I’m so thankful for all the things she’s taught me, like preparing to be a mom myself.”

No other information on Kirsten’s twins is known. We also don’t know the names. With that being said, until I’m proven wrong, I choose to believe her children’s names are Gilly-Dooneese and Target Lady.

Now that we know Kristen is a mom, I’ll forgive her for participating in Gal Gadot’s cringey celebrity sing-a-long for COVID-19. As you may remember, Kristen filmed her part outside in her backyard. And I think I know why. She had not one, but two screaming infants in her home at the time. She probably agreed to it because she would take any reason to get out of the house. Also because she was probably running on 30 minutes of sleep. Sleep deprivation will make you do questionable things.
