If I had gone with the headline: “Andy Cohen throws an angry bitch out of his house” you might think I was talking about one of the frozen-faced trophy mannequins in his dingy Housewives harem. Instead, I’m talking about Wacha, the adorable beagle-foxhound Andy has owned for the past 7 years. That’s right, despite falling in love with the pooch after seeing his photo on a pet adoption website back in 2013, Andy has sent Wacha to live in a better place––I mean, 7 years in captivity with Andy Cohen? I’m surprised the dog lasted 7 minutes!
Us Weekly is reporting that Andy took to Instagram to share the horrible news that he decided to remove Wacha from his home for the safety of his 15-month-old son, Benjamin. The reason being that Wacha had been displaying “aggressive” behavior. Ya, no shit, Andy. You of all people should know that when a younger and cuter piece enters the picture, OG bitches are going to get jealous.
I’ve been preaching for years that kids ruin everything. But this? We should have listened to Tituss Burgess! Andy explained in a long Instagram post why Benjamin and Wacha just could not continue to exist together in the same house (seriously, the Housewives parallels are everywhere in this story):
“When he came into my life, my world changed…Over the nearly seven years that I’ve been blessed to have Wacha in my life, we have worked to address some occasional random signs of aggression.”
“Keeping him here could be catastrophic for Ben and worse for Wacha,”
Andy makes sure to note that Wacha is “thriving” in his new home.
You may have said to yourself, “well, Andy probably did the right thing…”, before you realize that you’re agreeing with Andy Cohen on something! But hopefully, Wacha is happy in his new home, and the good news for him is that he can FaceTime with Uncle Anderson without Andy trying to butt in on the convo!
