Amanda Stanton Of “The Bachelor” Defended Her Decision To Drive From California To Arizona For A Hair Appointment

And you thought Madonna was bad for flying to a birthday party during coronavirus? How about this twit from The Bachelor, Amanda Stanton, who said, “Excuse my, beauty“, to coronavirus by driving all the way from her home in California to Arizona to get her hair done.

Amanda was in the 20th season of The Bachelor and was also in Bachelor In Paradise, and from there, she slid into the inevitable “job” of an influencer. As such, she needs to look her best and so when the opportunity arose for her to get out of quarantine and get her hair done, she went for it, and she brought her 8-year-old daughter, Kinsley, along for the ride.

Amanda documented her journey from California to Arizona on her Instagram stories writing (via ONTD):

“Drove very very far to get my hair done and may have peed on the side of a dirt road because I’m scared to use public restrooms. But it was worth it, I feel like a new person.”

So trick is scared of the coronavirus biting her in the ass when she uses a public restroom but is cool with someone she hasn’t quarantined with getting close to her face? LOGICAL!

Amanda explained that her stylist just reopened their salon in Arizona and so she had to go. Amanda hadn’t had her hair done since January! Oh my god, she deserves a tax credit or something! What a sacrifice! (via CNN)

“I hadn’t had my hair done since January and my hair stylist who I have been going to for years JUST opened her salon. I thought I’d rather go when she JUST opened than later when more people had been there.”

But nobody cares that she needed to get her hair dyed blonder and trimmed two-to-three centimeters. People called her out on the needless trip during a pandemic. Since logic isn’t a thing that has ever touched Amanda’s brains, she defended her decision:

“I was really affected by some of the backlash I received yesterday and wish I didn’t care so much about what other people thought about me or feel the need to defend myself sometimes (especially when I know I’m doing my best),” she wrote.

Stanton also wrote that sheltering in place has been difficult for her since she is used to being active and that the anxiety had her “obsessing over character flaws and replaying/over analyzing mistakes I’ve made.”

Someone call Joan Of Arc, because she hasn’t suffered persecution the way Amanda has!

Amanda also said that she and her daughter had both tested negative for coronavirus before they took the trip. And the whole thing was worth it because Amanda and her daughter had a great time:

“Aside from the backlash yesterday, I feel so much better that I got my hair done and Kins had the best day ever at the hair salon. She told me “This almost feels like a normal day” and It made my heart cry happy tears.”

Here’s Amanda showing off her new hair:

And here’s what her hair looked like before:

So… she risked coronavirus for a couple of highlights? Does she not know that Sun-In exists?! Even Kim Zolciak allegedly waited for her city to open up again before running off to get touched by the Botox needle. And when your stupid decision makes Kim Zolciak look smart and responsible….
