JoJo Siwa Celebrated Her 17th Birthday By Taking Her Hair Down, Sparking Gay Rumors

Want to feel old? JoJo Siwa turned 17 today, and unless you are a parent of tweens, you probably feel like it was just yesterday that you found out what a JoJo Siwa even is. And now you see she’s trending on Twitter and that she might be gay? Yes, sad to say, even in Quorinatine (™), life is passing you by.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the My Little Pony who was transformed into human form by a witch’s curse is trending on Twitter after she posted herself doing the “Wipe it Down” challenge on TikTok. And while future scholars will be puzzling over that sentence in the decades to come, in 2020 it just means she took her signature ponytail down, causing some to speculate that her new “TikTok lesbian” look might suggest a coming out. JoJo Siwa sparked an online frenzy with her latest TikTok video.

Siwa, who celebrated her 17th birthday Tuesday, posted the clip on the eve of her special day.

The “Wipe It Down Challenge” video showed her in her signature sparkly getup, including her high ponytail and massive bow, before she swapped the colourful ensemble for a more casual look.

She also took her hair down, leading fans to speculate whether this was going to be the start of something new for Siwa and her career.

This isn’t the first time JoJo’s let it all hang out on Tiktok. But many online have speculated that her latest video, and that fact that it coincided with her 17th birthday, signifies that her contract with Nickelodeon is ending soon, ushering in The Emancipation of JoJo.

As for her not wearing her “JoJo bow” or a face full of asbestos play make-up, some strangely think that’s her way of coming out.

okay I did not expect this tweet to get attention… apparently this is a common theory regarding jojo siwa which like, cool if true, but also no pressure on her or anyone to feel the need to come out if they don’t want to/aren’t ready !!
