Brian Austin Green Confirms That He And Megan Fox Have Split Up

The status of Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox’s marriage has been more off-and-on than a Home Depot display model light switch. Sometimes they’re together, and sometimes it looks like they’re not. Most recently, Megan has been seen cruising around Los Angeles with prolific celebrity serial dater Machine Gun Kelly, while Brian has been Instagramming inspirational quotes about needing freedom. So naturally, the theory was that they are in the middle of another split. But it sounds like this could finally mark the end of their off-and-on relationship, because Brian recently revealed that he and Megan are done.

Us Weekly says that Brian broke the news during an episode of the “…With Brian Austin Green” podcast titled, “Context.” And context is exactly what he gave in regards to those pics of Meghan and MGK. Brian and Megan started dating in 2004, and have been married since 2010. But Brian says he and Megan have, “really been trying to sort of be apart” since the end of 2019. And he says they’re going to try to get along for the sake of their three kids, Noah, Bodhi, and Journey.

“I will always love her,” Green said. “And I know she will always love me and I know as far as a family what we have built is really cool and really special.” Green explained that the pair will “still do family vacations and holidays as a family and really make that a focus for the kids.”

“It sucks when life changes and something that you’re used to, that you’ve been doing for 15 years, you try and not get rid of but you change. There’s the unknown aspect…there’s that pit in my stomach…I really don’t want Megan and I to be at odds…she’s been my best friend for 15 years and I don’t want to lose that.”

So, they’re going to co-parent and act like mature adults and won’t engage in any shitty custody messiness. Not exactly a shock, considering that making sure their kids are happy is kind of a priority for Megan and Brian. But what about MGK. Brian says that Megan met MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, while filming Midnight in the Switchgrass in March (production stopped because of COVID-19), and that it’s nothing serious right now. But while both E! News and Us Weekly claim that Megan and MGK are doing it and have been doing it for a while, Brian thinks they’re just friends.

“She met this guy, Colson, on set…I’ve never met him…Megan and I have talked about him. They’re just friends at this point. I trust her judgment, she’s always had really good judgment. I don’t want people to think her or he are villains or that I was a victim in any way.”

So far, no one has filed for divorce, which means they’re just separated at the moment. Megan filed for divorce once before, in 2015, but called it off three years later. Can they recycle their divorce papers? I don’t know if that’s legal, but it’s definitely the most eco-conscious choice.

For anyone who is saying that they totally saw this coming, well – so did Brian apparently! Brian says that while his wife was off shooting another movie in October, he had a dream that she began acting distant when she returned home to him. In real life, Megan returned home and began acting distant to Brian. When he asked her if something was off, Megan reportedly answered that she felt more like herself when she was away from her husband. And that’s how they decided to start living separately. Brian is totally about to get a group chat text message from Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling that reads, “Very sorry about your marriage and all, but if you’re so psychic how come you couldn’t predict that BH90210 was going to get canceled??
