Open Post: Hosted By Jim Parsons’ Newly Bleached Hair

Needless to say, months of quarantine has caused many of our greatest public figures to make questionable choices. I don’t have to remind you about Gal Gadot’s attempt at becoming the new Yoko Ono. Or Kevin Spacey continually reminding us that he still exists and is still awful. Or just any and all of Justin Bieber’sentire life. Well, quarantine-mania has claimed another. Only this one is serving attention-seeking-eleganza-extravaganza the RIGHT way.

Jim Parsons, like so many frustrated gays before him, turned some quiet time in lockdown into an opportunity for a dramatic character change by giving himself an (assumedly) at-home bleach job. Because well, in times of crisis, gay men bleach their hair!

What caused this stroke of madness? Jim is in quarantine with his husband, Todd Spiewak, and he decided to exercise his immense range by bleaching hair just for the hell of it. Appearing on SiriusXM, Jim talked to host Jess Cagle about his role in Ryan Murphy’sHollywood“. But Jess became visibly distracted by Jim’s new crispy french fries-colored hair:

Well, now that Jim’s had his fun, he better dye it back right quick if he wants to remain in Ryan’s harem of long-working, brown-haired beauties.
