Sources Claim That Kristin Cavallari Doesn’t Think Jay Cutler Is “Lazy”
It seems like “sources” just can’t decide how they want to paint the divorce saga between 33-year-old Kristin Cavallari and 37-year-old Jay Cutler. The two announced their break up at the end of April and since then there have been competing narratives on why shit went south. Once source claimed that Kristin dumped Jay because he’s lazy and won’t get a job, and now another source is saying that’s not true at all. Get it together, sources!
Kristin and Jay’s divorce fight started messy with her claiming that “marital misconduct” was the reason for their demise. Kristin also asked for full custody of their three children while Jay wanted joint custody. They reached a temporary agreement to share custody. Sources also shut down cheating rumors when people suggested Jay had hooked up with Kristin’s ex-bestie, Kelly Henderson. There was also a spat over living arrangements, but that was worked out as well. So where’s the drama? You can’t get people to talk about you if there’s no drama.
Well luckily, “sources” drummed up some drama by saying that Jay is a sack of laziness by deciding not to go into sportscasting after retiring from football and instead decided to lay around the family farm with the kids. Kristin married a sports STAH and not a blander K-Fed, so that led to her quitting him. BUT WAIT! Another source is saying the opposite.
Us Weekly‘s source says there’s “no truth… whatsoever” to Kristin thinking that Jay’s lazy:
“Kristin never had a problem with him retiring. She didn’t find him unmotivated or lazy… He took the Miami Dolphins job because it was a lot of money and way more money than sports broadcasting. Why would he not take that? She never criticized him about not working or not working hard enough. She didn’t care.”
Honestly, it would be rich if Kristin didn’t like someone for being jobless! She was on The Hills for fuck’s sake! It’s been fourteen years and a reboot later, and I still don’t know what Frankie Delgado does! Has Brody Jenner ever had a job? Princes Of Malibu doesn’t count.
These “insiders” need to make up their minds. Is Jay cheating or isn’t he? Is he lazy or isn’t he? The back and forth is confusing to everyone who cares (cut to a shot of “everyone” which is just the tumbleweeds and me). Although, it would be very on brand (Very Cavallari, you could say) for Kristin if the “inside sources” section of her PR team was an unorganized mess.
