NFL Star Earl Thomas Was Held At Gunpoint By His Wife After She Caught Him Cheating In An Orgy That Involved His Brother

The headline is insane, but the full story is even more insane, so here goes. If you’re a sports fan (anybody?) you may know NFL player Earl Thomas, currently of the Baltimore Ravens, and formerly of the Seattle Seahawks, where he was a member of “The Legion of Boom”, a legendary group of defensive players who helped the Seahawks win the Super Bowl in 2014.

So yeah. Earl does good sports. But it turns out Earl does not do good husband. Because on April 13, after fighting about his drinking habits with his wife/high school sweetheart/mother to his kids, Nina Thomas, he went out with his brother, Seth Thomas, picked up some women, and had an orgy at a nearby Airbnb in the Austin, Texas area. Yes, with HIS brother.

Team Nina, right? Errr… not so much. Because Nina decided to figure out where Earl went and logged into his Snapchat and found video of him with another woman. So she tracked down his whereabouts using Snapchat, grabbed Earl’s gun (claiming she just wanted to “scare him”), and traveled to the Airbnb with two female friends as backup. To no one’s shock, it did not go well.

via TMZ:

Yikes. Not smart. Instead of grabbing a loaded gun, Nina shoulda grabbed her phone and filmed that dirty cheater in the act. That’s how you score the NFL money in the divorce fight. Instead, the Austin Police Dept. showed up to this scene:

“We observed that a black female wearing an orange sweater with a knife in her hand, later identified as Nina Thomas, was chasing a shirtless black male, later identified as Earl Thomas, with a pistol in his hand around a vehicle.”

Nina and her friends were arrested (but not Earl):

Here’s her mug shot:

Nina is also required to stay 200 yards from Earl and his alleged mistress. When reached by TMZ, Nina’s attorney said this:

“I am here to declare that my client unequivocally and categorically denies these allegations and we look forward to our day in court where we can clear her good name.”

When Earl, who turns 31 today (Happy Birthday!) heard that TMZ was breaking the news, he posted this video to Instagram to “get ahead” of the story (he’s since deleted it):

In the video Earl says that “sometimes things don’t go as planned”, to keep his family in our prayers, and “stuff like this happens”. “Stuff like this happens?!” I mean, yeah, people cheat, sure, but do they really have orgies with their brothers (especially during the COVID pandemic)? And get held up at gunpoint by their wife and her friends? Ya know, maybe they do. I mean, this is America and an NFL player we’re talking about.
