Joe Biden Reportedly Rejected A Campaign Donation From Louis C.K.

Ever since Louis C.K. confirmed the longstanding rumors that he was a dick-yanking creep, and was subsequently fired and dropped from everything, he’s been trying to stage his big comeback. Between the red hair and the delusion, he’s like if Valerie Cherish were awful. And his comeback just hasn’t happened yet, because it seems that every time his name is in the news, it’s for something bad. Remember Louis LOL-ing about the n-word? Or when Louis roasted up the surviving Parkland High School shooting victims? We’ve got a new one to add to the list of Embarrassing Reasons Why Louis CK Is Trending Today, and it’s because Joe Biden sent back a donation Louis made to his 2020 Presidential campaign.

According to The Los Angeles Times, Louis cut Joe Biden’s campaign a check for the maximum individual donation of $2,800 early last month when the race was narrowed down to Biden and Bernie Sanders (who dropped out this month). $2,800 is barely a month’s worth of ice cream for Joe Biden, but it’s the thought that counts. Especially when you remember that Louis has been pushing the narrative that Poor, Poor Louis doesn’t have any money since he lost his job. So that was very generous of Louis to scrape together his pennies and give them to Joe. I wonder if when he wrote the check, Louis added a little note explaining that he made his donation from months of can-collecting, or selling what was left of his hair like Fantine in Les Mis.

But Joe doesn’t want the money. A Biden campaign official confirmed that Louis’ $2,800 has been returned to him. Joe Biden’s campaign did not reveal the specific reason why the money was sent back, only that it had been sent back. The LAT reached out to Louis’ rep, who didn’t respond with a comment.

Joe Biden’s campaign didn’t really need to give a reason for why they refused a donation from Louis CK. It’s pretty obvious why. Louis CK has a pretty gross history with women. And let’s face it, Joe Biden’s campaign doesn’t need any more of that. As for why Louis specifically chose to throw his money at Joe, my guess is it’s because Louis now understands the value of a leader who takes a hands-off approach to things.
