Alia Shawkat Was Seen Riding Her Bike Out Of Brad Pitt’s Gated Community
Last week during a video conference with the Surgeon General of California, Angelina Jolie encouraged people to “check in with each other” during the ongoing coronavirus isolation situation. I’m guessing Alia Shawkat heard that and thought, “Sounds good, I’ll start with your ex.” And she might have taken the suggestion literally, because she was seen on Saturday leaving Brad Pitt’s gated community on her bike.
It was Alia’s 31st birthday on Saturday. Anyone who has had a birthday in the past 4 weeks knows that COVID-19 doesn’t care if it’s your birthday, COVID-19 wants you to stay inside. But according to the International Business Times, a little ol’ order to shelter in place clearly wasn’t enough to stop Alia from having a happy birthday with her very good friend Brad Pitt. Photographers happened to catch her leaving his gated community.

That tweet above is calling Brad Pitt her boyfriend, but remember – they’re just good friends who hang out and do normal platonic friend things, like get burgers from In-N-Out and go to shows and celebrate each other’s birthdays, as much as social distancing rules will allow. And it’s pretty clear there’s nothing romantic going on between Brad and Alia. Look at her, her soulmate is a vintage Oingo Boingo cassette tape.
It’s not known how much time Alia spent at Brad’s house, or even if she was at Brad’s house. Maeby she was visiting someone else in Brad’s neighborhood. Because it’s kind of frowned upon to have groups of people gather in one place, and Brad sometimes has a full house. A source tells E! News that, despite the coronavirus lockdown, Brad still gets to see his kids, and nothing has really changed with their custody schedule.
But if we’re being realistic, she was probably over at Brad’s house. It’s a good thing only one of them was seen out on the street. Because every photographer within a 20-mile radius of Los Angeles would have come running if they knew they could get a picture of Brad and his 31-year-old brunette actress friend out for a casual stroll. Poor Ben Affleck and his 31-year-old brunette actress girlfriend already work so hard to be seen outside on the weekends. It just wouldn’t be fair if they got dolled up only to realize all the photographers were over at Brad’s house.
