Padma Lakshmi Doesn’t Think You Should Worry About Her Quarantine Nipples

April 15, 2020 / Posted by:

Padma Lakshmi has spent a lot of time on lockdown doing cooking segments on Instagram. Well, during a recent Instagram cooking session, people hated on her for reasons beyond, “Why are you using garlic when I can’t find that shit anywhere.” Some commentators on her page were outraged that she would go on her own Instagram page sans bra! They said, “There will be no nipples in Padma’s Lakshmi’s house!”

Page Six says that in a video, Padma served up a side of nipples while cooking chicken tagine:

We made Chicken Tagine 🐔

While many tried to figure out how the fuck they were going to make chicken tagine when they don’t have a tagine, others, who are the only humans on earth wearing a bra right now, clutched their pearls over a pair of human nipples under a shirt. Nobody tell them about Jennifer Aniston or they will really lose it. Here are some #IMPRISONTHENIPPLE comments:

Wear a bra if they’re that saggy and old. You’re not turning anyone on with those

Is no one going to comment on why she feels the need to put her nipples on social media in every video? No? Just sad

You are at home in your kitchen, but you’re making a public video, why not just put a bra on?

I agree with you Natalie, [her nipples are] a distraction but a personal choice Padma is making. I am choosing to unfollow.

Padma saw the comments, and in another video, she joked that she wore two bras in order to please the nipple haters:

While some think Padma cooking while having boobs is weird, I think it’s weird to focus on her boobs when there’s a big, voluptuous, bouncy lasagna with white ragu right there.
