Open Post: Hosted By Heidi Montag’s Time-Traveling Christian Movie––Just In Time For Easter!

Yes, THAT Heidi Montag. And yes, she made a movie. And while the plot of this movie is basically about time travel and trying to assassinate Jesus, it’s still easier to comprehend than the fact that, again, it’s 2020 and Heidi Montag is getting cast in movies.

Followers of the Christian pop chanteuse and former The Hills star, got a messy surprise when Heidi randomly tweeted on Friday that she was in a Christian movie and that it’s also available to purchase via iTunes. Just like that. No fanfare. No buildup. Just…here you go.

According to her own description (unbelievably, there doesn’t appear to be a marketing budget in sight), this cinematic masterpiece is called Assassin 33 A.D. (written and directed by born again poker play Jim Carroll) and it’s about time-traveling terrorists who go back in time to kill Jesus. And Heidi, who knows a thing or two about coming back from the dead, decided to announce the drop on Good Friday. Sounds like timing is still everything at the Pratt-Montag compound.

But that’s not all. Apparently, the movie was supposed to be in theaters (really, bitch?) but got canceled by the coronavirus. Why do I get the feeling that even COVID-19 wouldn’t even show up to a viewing of this?

Plot aside (America is clearly thriving on trash viewing nowadays), how is it that this is the first anybody’s heard about this flick? Back in the day, Heidi would promote a trip to the mall three weeks in advance. I guess we should be keeping an eye out for Heidi’s name once the best actress race kicks off later this year.

Check out the trailer below. Heidi doesn’t appear anywhere, but a quick scan of the movie’s IMDB page (2.5/10 rating, so far) shows her at the top of the cast list. So, keep your eyes peeled if you choose to waste $7.99 on this gem:
