Open Post: Hosted By This Hijinks-Filled Disaster Movie

A lot can happen in the span of one minute. Even during a quarantine, drastic things have gone down at this Studio 6 hotel (Motel 6’s fancy cousin). Someone set off a fire alarm or triggered the wrong sprinkler system or something, because the hotel went full Titanic with water sloshing out of the rooms. But that’s not all, the video also has a dramatic escape and emotional loss. It has it all!

Artist Prophet Amen Ra posted a video he captured of a dramatic scene he came across while out for a walk. First we see water pouring out from a room in a Studio 6 as a fire alarm blares. Then a man comes into the shot, fully-clothed and soaking wet. He looks around for a bit before climbing over the railing to escape, I guess? What is he escaping from? Well, there’s no time for us to digest that mystery as the escapee jumps over the railing, landing on a car before slipping on the windshield and busting his ass on the hood and ground. The face he makes as he falls is comedy gold. The Three Stooges wish they were as good at physical comedy as this buffoon.

But there’s one person who is not amused by his antics, and that’s a little girl who screams bloody murder over the dude messing up her family car. Not sure why she cares since she’s not paying for it, but really, nobody has ever loved anything the way that this girl loves that car:

Here’s a less interesting video of the shenanigans:

Whatever happened to social distancing? Dude better have a good reason for escaping, like maybe he was seeing his side-piece and didn’t want to get caught. But honestly, this is just a great quarantine video from beginning to end. Truly exciting and engrossing. Far more inspirational than anything Gal Gadot could come up with.
