Ezra Miller Chokes A Fan And Drags Her To The Ground In A Video
When I hear about Ezra Miller bringing the fuckery, I assume that they did that by showing up at an event done up like a snobby nun from The Church of Butt Plugs, or like a middle-aged groupie turned truck stop hooker who also practices voodoo on the side and was the inspiration for ScarJo’s look in that alien movie (see: the look above). But today, the fuckery that Ezra Miller brought is of the violent kind and isn’t at all what I was expecting to see today. But a video has come out of Ezra choking a fan. At first it seems like it’s a joke, but shit quickly goes south, figuratively and literally, when Ezra drags the woman to the ground as the person filming tries to stop Ezra. And a source tells Variety that it wasn’t not funny and Ezra was escorted away. WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT KEVIN EZRA.
Variety says that this messiness happened at 6pm on April 1 outside of a bar called Prikið Kaffihús in Reykjavik, Iceland. 27-year-old Ezra is a regular at the bar, apparently. Variety’s source says that a group of fans approached Ezra and were “pushy.” Well, if those fans were being pushy, Ezra should’ve responded by pulling an Ian Somerhalder and letting them know that April 1 is International Ezra Milller Day and is the day that Ezra Miller doesn’t talk to fans because the day belongs to Ezra Miller. But instead of doing that, Ezra pulled a Chris Brown and says to the fan, ”Oh, you wanna fight? That’s what you wanna do?” The fan seems to think that Ezra is celebrating April Fools because she laughs and jokingly pretends like she’s getting ready to fight. But Ezra then chokes her and pulls her to the ground as the person filming steps in and says, “Woah, bro, bro, bro…”

FYI: Iceland is currently not on coronavirus lockdown, but they have banned gatherings of 100 people or more.
ONTD points out that the person who tweeted the clip (and later took it down) claimed that Ezra showed off scars from a fight and the woman joked that she could beat Ezra up. The Twitter user added that Ezra spit at them and two bar employees, and that bouncers held a barefoot Ezra until the cops showed up. Variety didn’t say anything about the police but did say that Ezra was escorted away:
Despite confusion online over whether the video was a joke — with memes already emerging on Twitter, where Miller’s name has been trending — a source at the establishment, Prikið Kaffihús, has confirmed to Variety that this was a serious altercation at the bar, and that the man, whom they identify as Miller, was escorted off the premises.
Variety asked Ezra’s rep for a comment and they have yet to respond.
I know it’s Monday and it’s also a Monday during lockdown, so many of our brains are probably still hitting the snooze button. But let’s try to do some math anyway. So we’ve got Ezra Miller + barefoot in the cold + going crazy on someone at a bar + Pumkin’ing people (especially during this time of corona) + wearing pink and red with jeans. Hmm… we don’t need Sir Isaac Newton to tell us that the answer to that problem is most likely: A NATURAL BORN ASSHOLE BUSTING OUT SOME COKE RAGE!!!!
And when the A24 Shia LaBeouf does respond to this, I’m sure they’ll say they were just “horsing” around with the woman, as they try to pass her a stack of shush cash. Or Ezra will remind us that they’re a serious artiste and as a serious artiste, they have responded to the current pandemic with a performance art piece where the woman played the role of coronavirus and Ezra played the role of humanity taking her down. Ezra was just trying to unite us, you see!
