Lindsay Lohan Is Teasing That She’s “Back” With New Music

Lindsay Lohan chose the perfect time to step back onto the music scene. While artists like Lady Gaga have pushed back releases of their music, Lindsay has decided that a quarantine is the best time to make her musical comeback. I mean, it’s definitely a fittingly-poetic choice!

Lindsay hopped on Twitter to let us know she’s coming back like a herpes outbreak. Awesome. Now that Masked Singer Australia is over for now, she’s able to focus on her career of… something. And she’s starting by putting out new music… allegedly. She’s been teasing a music return for some time now, and nothing has really materialized. There were some shitty non-singles and a video which was lower-quality than your average TikTok, so she had a ways to go in terms of wowing us.

She tweeted out a montage of some of her old videos, paparazzi footage, her own social media footage, that LiLo dance, and people saying her name. That’s it. That’s the teaser. There isn’t even a hint of music, and before I clicked the link, I didn’t even know it was for new music.

Also, people on Twitter have pointed out that this clip fully rips off Christina Aguilera’s Stripped intro video. Of course Xtina’s is better:

The link in Lindsay’s tweet goes to her official site, and on it is a link to pre-save her single on Spotify. No word on when the song is coming out, but this is Lindsay Lohan we’re talking about. It could be Friday. It could be a hundred years from now. But it’s good to see Lindsay taking advantage of a time when people are forced to stay inside, and thanks to boredom, won’t resist the urge to listen to her song. I mean, new Lindsay Lohan music and a virus ravaging the planet at the same time? Sounds like two of the four horsemen to me!
