Jeremy Renner’s Ex Sonni Pacheco Claims He’s “Greatly Exaggerated” How Much Child Support He Pays

Earlier this week, Jeremy Renner asked the court to reduce his child support payments to his ex-wife Sonni Pacheco. Since coronavirus has shut down Hollywood for now, he isn’t making that money the way he used to. So he claimed it was only fair to pay his ex-wife, Sonni Pacheco, less money. They share 6-year-old daughter Ava, and Jeremy claimed that Sonni used his child support for her lifestyle and she didn’t need as much money as he paid her. Well, Sonni, who is a sculptor (see: her piece of art holding out a hand like, “Pay up, Hawkeye!”), has responded to that and denies she gets $30,000 a month from him.

After Jeremy’s filing, Sonni gave her response to Page Six, because she can’t take his lies and accused him of using coronavirus to get out of taking care of their child:

“It is very disheartening that in a time of global crisis there is yet another attempt to reduce funds I rely on to provide for our child.”

Jeremy claimed in court documents that he pays Sonni $30,000 a month and believes that number should be knocked down to $11,000 a month. Sonni told Page Six that Jeremy filed the papers on her birthday so she didn’t have time to look at them herself but claimed his $30,000 figure was “greatly exaggerated”:

“The reported monthly income has been greatly exaggerated… I only have knowledge as to what I have read in the tabloids. I think it’s time after seven years of Hell, I start addressing the lies myself.”

The “Hell” Sonni referred to is most likely in reference to the claims made in her custody fight with Jeremy. Sonni accused alleged cokehead Jeremy of threatening to kill her, and waving a gun around . Sonni also accused Jeremy of once biting Ava causing her to bruise. Jeremy’s camp has called the claims “categorically not true” and “straight-out character assassination”.

Sonni is standing by her claims that Jeremy is a mess, and said that she’s only worried about Ava’s safety and has spent a lot of money on legally fighting him.

“First, I do not receive 30k in monthly child support. Second, all of my savings and Ava’s savings have been drained due to lawyer fees, as my concerns for Ava’s safety have been an ongoing battle for years now. I have, and will always choose to protect Ava when I find out about disturbing behavior exhibited by her father at his homes that put her in danger.”

And even though Sonni suggested that Jeremy is a danger to his own daughter, she ended her statement with some condescending “I wish him well” shit:

“Last but not least, I am choosing love and to continue to wish him the best and a healthy safe life.”

It’s nice to see that this pandemic has gotten people to put aside their petty issues and focus on working together to get through this. And honestly, maybe Sonni wasn’t being condescending and does wish him health, because if dude ain’t healthy, he can’t work and bring in the money!
