R. Kelly Is “Social Distancing” In Prison To Avoid Coronavirus

March 24, 2020 / Posted by:

R. Kelly is currently in prison over some very serious federal criminal charges regarding heinous shit after heinous shit after heinous shit. While he’s on lockdown over sex-abuse and racketeering charges in Chicago, it seems that he’s trying his hardest to practice a new way of life. Social distancing. Yup, so NOW he’s practicing social distancing, which is something he should’ve done years and years ago.

Since everyone is worried about how this piece of trash is doing during these times, Vulture spoke with R. Kelly’s lawyer, Steve Greenberg, and the virus that is R. Kelly is worried about catching another virus, like Harvey Weinstein has. I bet R. Kelly wishes he was back in solitary right now.

Steve Greenberg said that R. Kelly is doing his best to follow the guidelines about dealing with corona. While R. Kelly isn’t on Instagram Live every night like the rest of the world, he’s doing what he can even though he has a cellmate:

“I think it’s fair to say that he’s trying to follow the same advice as the rest of us, and be smart, and you know, stay away from others. He’s practicing whatever level of social distancing you can practice in jail… He’s concerned because he’s in probably the worst possible situation, in terms of social distancing, that you could be in.”

Steve continued:

“He is not in isolation, nor has he asked to be put in any isolation. He generally stays in his cell as much as possible, so that’s sort of like the rest of us who are living at home. I don’t know that you can totally isolate.”

So how about that hand-washing? Is he counting the correct number of cuchi cuchis? Probably not since R. Kelly can’t count past 16, which is the age below the age of consent in Illinois.

“It’s a jail, so I don’t know.”

Yeah something tells me R. Kelly was not a big hand washer before this. We know what he likes to allegedly get down to on video, so…

R. Kelly’s video arraignment for the New York federal charges has been postponed to April 30 because of coronavirus. No word on his case in Minnesota.

Well, good luck to R. Kelly (not really). But we all know that R. Kelly doesn’t have a great history in terms of catching things in prison.
