Hilary Duff Goes Off On “Millennial Assholes” For Ignoring The Coronavirus Warnings

Hilary Duff was the first person in human history to say Gay Rights™ and now she’s about to save us from coronavirus. She’s done so much for us. She and other celebrities would like to remind the idiotic youths of the world that yes, you probably won’t die from coronavirus since it’s more deadly for people over 70 and those with immune or breathing issues, but someone else will die because they caught it from you, and that is the problem. Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift have also piped in to tell the kids to stay the fuck home.

Tom Hanks getting coronavirus really put Hollywood on alert and now the stars are coming out to tell you to stay inside. Hilary hopped on Instagram to slap at the “millennial assholes” for continuing to go out like we’re not in the middle of a pandemic. Lizzie really IS grown now! She told her followers to stop murdering old people by partying! Death by selfish partying millennial!

Ariana posted a message, telling people to take this seriously and “care more about others”. She added that “your hip hop yoga class can fucking wait” which is very true (via Entertainment Weekly):

“I keep hearing from a surprising amount of people statements like “this isn’t a big deal” / “we’ll be fine”“we still have to go about our lives” and it’s really blowing my mind,” …I understand if that is how u felt weeks ago. but please read about what’s going on. please don’t turn a blind eye… It is incredibly dangerous and selfish to take this situation that lightly. the “we will be fine because we’re young” mindset is putting people who aren’t young and / or healthy in a lot of danger. you sound stupid and privileged and you need to care more about others. like now.”

Taylor also implored her friends to do what she does and spend all her time with cats.

“I follow you online and I love you guys so much and need to express my concern that things aren’t being taken seriously enough right now. I’m seeing lots of get-togethers and hangs and parties still happening. This is the time to cancel plans, actually truly isolate as much as you can, and don’t assume that because you don’t feel sick that you aren’t possibly passing something on to someone elderly or vulnerable to this. It’s a really scary time but we need to make social sacrifices right now.”

Trevor Noah also encouraged people to be safe as he shut down production on The Daily Show:

“If we all panic, nobody has anything, and if nobody has anything then there’s more panic. It becomes a vicious cycle… So be considerate of others, take what you need, leave the shop, and let’s act like we live in a community, not just by ourselves.”

And Tom even helped out too, posting a little update from quarantine in Australia saying we should take care of each other:

How sweet, nothing brings people together like a deadly disease! I’d like to thank all of these famous celebrities for telling people to stay inside and that we should all be looking out for one another. And when the world economy crashes, martial law fails, and the planet revolts into catastrophe, I encourage them to keep this same energy and allow people (me) to live in safety in one of their underground rich people bunkers.
