Antonio Sabato Jr. Claims His Career Ended Because He Supports Donald Trump

For whatever reason Antonio Sabato Jr. has dusted himself off of the Favorite Hotties of the Past shelf to remind us all at one time he was hotter than chicken tenders fresh out the frying pan. But just like whenever someone says the word “disco” his name conjures up memories of a time that has come and gone. And one of those reasons is probably because nobody has really seen him in anything for the past few years. Luckily, Antonio is here to answer our burning questions, like where the hell has he been. According to the failed congressman, his acting career flatlined after he publicly showed his support for 45.

During the 2016 election, most of Hollywood supported Hillary Clinton, but not Hollywood-WAY-Adjacent actor Antonio. He was adamant that Trump should be next in line to tweet the country into oblivion so he lent his support for Trump’s campaign early on. And in a recent interview with Variety, Antonio spilled all the lukewarm tea, claiming that he went broke from supporting Trump.

“I had to sell everything,” Sabato reveals in a phone interview with Variety from his new home in Florida. “I had to pay all my debts. I was blacklisted. All my representatives left me, from agents to managers to commercial agents. I literally had to move, find a new job to survive and take care of my kids. It’s been terrible. It’s mind-blowing. It’s a disgrace. It’s tough, because if you’re in that environment in Hollywood and you have something to say that they don’t like, they’re going to let you know.”

Okay, but if you peep at Antonio’s IMDB page, it looks like Hollywood stopped calling years before he supported Trump. And now Antonio says he’s starring in a brand new role far away from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. And that role is called Everyday Working Man.

Sabato decided to relocate to Florida, where he now works long days in construction. “I’m on the ground,” Sabato says when asked to describe his new life. “I go on the job at two in the morning, and I’m making sure that the job is controlled and supervised by me. I’m in the car all day, driving, going through all the sites. Five days a week, nonstop.”

Boo hoo, Antonio! You have to work like the rest of us. Poor you. But wait until Antonio starts seeing huge chunks of his paycheck being taken out in the next few months over Trump’s Guns in Space initiative. Then he’ll feel the rest of America’s pain.
