Mikaela Spielberg Got Arrested For Domestic Violence In Nashville

Well, that escalated quickly. Mikaela Spielberg, the daughter of Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw, had already been making headlines this year for revealing that she was going into porn. Since then, the tables seem to have turned. And not in her favor.

According to People, 24-year-old Mikaela, who lives in Tennessee, was picked up at 6:30am yesterday by Nashville police for an alleged altercation between her and her 47-year-old fiancé, professional darts player, Chuck Pankow. Mikaela was admitted into the Hill Detention Center and placed on a 12-hour hold, despite already posting bond.

This messy news comes right on the Lucite heels of Mikaela’s announcement about not only wanting to get into solo porn, but also a desire to get licensed in order to become a stripper, as is required in the state of Tennessee.

While it is still unclear as to what exactly went down (I mean, that couple looks like they are destined for great things), Chuck did take the time to confirm to Fox News (oh really? Fox News? Hmmm…) that an incident did in fact take place. But it’s, like, no big deal.

“It is true,” Pankow told Fox News in a statement, adding that the incident was “a misunderstanding…No one is hurt.”

I’m inclined to wait for more information given this sad situation, but it still seems a little fishy. Just a week ago, Mikaela was hitting back at claims that her life is totally not in a tailspin towards rock bottom (despite a lot of red flags). And now this?!

Reps for Steven have not yet responded to the news, but I’m sure that Mikaela will take to her Instagram live to answer another Q&A about how this is just another step in the journey of life. Or maybe she’ll save it for the inevitably sad WEtv series about this saga. Or is this more TLC territory?
