Macaulay Culkin Joins Cast For 10th Season Of “American Horror Story”

Ryan Murphy has revealed the cast for the tenth season of American Horror Story which will come out later this year. We already knew that series staple (and the best one on the show next to Jessica Lange) Sarah Paulson will be back after missing out on last season’s AHS: 1984, but a brand new addition to the cast is 39-year-old Macaulay Culkin.

The 10 episodes of the 10th season of AHS will start airing this fall. AHS has already been renewed for three more seasons after that, so it’s never ever going to end. Ryan Murphy is making that money while throwing more horror at us, although I still think his scariest show is Glee.

Entertainment Weekly says that Ryan posted one of his cryptic videos to announce the cast on Instagram. American Horror Story likes to sometimes keep the theme of a season hush-hush by revealing weird themed videos. This one is incredibly nondescript and features a scene of a gray beach with waves while playing the song Dead of Night by Orville Peck. So really this could be any goddamn thing and it has revealed absolutely nothing. So let the hype begin!

The cast includes: Kathy Bates, Macaulay Culkin, Sarah Paulson, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Evan Peters, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross, and Finn Wittrock. Macaulay has done a bit more acting recently appearing on Dollface on Hulu and also in Seth Green’s Changeland last year. And he’ll fit right in with the AHS crowd since he knows a thing or two about gross and bizarre horror stories.

Whatever the theme is, I just hope they get back into the gay one-liners because they haven’t been giving us any good ones since American Horror Story: Coven gifted us “BALENCIAGA!”, “Surprise, bitch!” and“KNOTTY PIIIIINE!”
