Cher, Naomi Campbell And Kim Kardashian Did A Motorcycle Gang Themed Photo Shoot Together

One thing I’ll never do is question Cher’s judgement. However, I’m shocked and saddened to report that Cher participated in a photo shoot for the cover of CR Fashionbook magazine in which she shares billing with Kim Kardashian and Naomi Campbell. Naomi I can accept. Naomi has the range. But the fact that Kim and Cher played with wigs and motorcycles together, side-by-side, hurts my soul. Therefore, I must rely on my deeply held spiritual belief that there is a higher power at work here, and her name is Cher. Cher makes no mistakes.

There are six different covers. Cher and Naomi each get two solo covers each, but Kim has to share her second cover with Cher. This is divine retribution for the disrespect Kim’s husband, Kanye West, showed by texting during opening night of The Cher Show on Broadway.

We know Kim loves Cher. In her own post she calls her her “style icon” which is like me declaring that Grace Jones is my style icon while I consistently leave the house looking borderline homeless.

Never forget the CURSED IMAGE Kim created by slapping a mustache on her friend Foodgod and dressing up as Sonny and Cher for Halloween a couple of years ago. Cher should have smited the shit out of her on the spot. But no. Cher is, of course, neither spiteful or vindictive. According to People, the “fearless fantasy biker gang” photo-shoot had a higher purpose.

For its upcoming Power issue (on stands March 12) the fashion magazine cast the singer, supermodel and mogul as a “fearless fantasy biker gang” who are “fighting for rights and causes close to their hearts,” and PEOPLE has an exclusive first look at the photo shoot.

In the corresponding cover story, Cher — an outspoken feminist and fashion muse for generations past and present — got candid about standing up for what she believes in: “I’m not a pacifist… Don’t fuck with me but also, I’m very gentle and very loving and I have a really good moral compass,” she told CR Fashion Book.

Cher did throw a little unintentional shade Kim’s way (with the help of People) by saying in the accompanying interview that she “hates selfies,” then People reminded us that Kim has published an entire book of them.

“People ask me all the time for them, and I almost always say no—except for Naomi [Campbell],” she said. “I like Twitter, because I like to say what I think and I don’t have to worry about that kind of thing. Sometimes I get my ass kicked on Twitter, but I still speak my mind.”

The thought of Kim asking Cher to do a selfie with her and getting blown off only to see Cher later that afternoon over by the craft services table cozy up to Naomi like “get in here, girl,” fills me with what I imagine Pentecosts feel when that snake venom hits the bloodstream and they piss their pants with rapturous bliss.
