Amanda Bynes Says She’s Been One Year Sober And Is Sorry For Calling You Ugly
Amanda Bynes appeared on Instagram the other day and introduced us to her fiancé with two first names: Paul Michael (not to be confused with Paul Mitchell). Now she has posted another video, introducing Paul and claiming that they are both one year sober, while also apologizing for calling her fans ugly.
The Blast reports that Amanda said in a video on Instagram:
“Hey, everyone! This is my fiancé. I’m so lucky! As you can see, he is drop-dead gorgeous and he’s also the best person on the face of the earth,”
“I just wanted to post a video to say, ‘I’m sorry to everyone whom I called ugly on Twitter.'”
She also gave a reason for why she lashed out at fans, pointing the finger at her drug use. “I was feeling so ugly at the time and it was really hard for me to express myself because I was so drugged out.”
Proudly announcing to fans that she and her fiancé have “remained sober for over a year,” Amanda Bynes signed off her video by telling her fans how much she appreciates their support.

As for Amanda and Paul’s marriage, it’s probably not going to happen since she’s still under a conservatorship and TMZ’s sources claim that her mother Lynn Bynes is not going to sign off on it.
Amanda will never legally marry her fiancee, Paul Michael, because her mother holds the keys to marriage and she doesn’t approve of her daughter’s engagement.
The sources add that Lynn believes that Paul is just a rebound since Amanda had a boyfriend right before him. Amanda’s family also believes that Paul is currently jobless. The Blast says that Paul is a student and his family is in the TV industry.
TMZ also has details about Amanda’s engagement ring since we all want to know. The ring was $49 and came from Amazon. Before you rush off to Amazon to buy a big ass real diamond for $49, it’s not real. Shocking, I know. It’s fake, and sources say Amanda is fine with that.
This whole thing continues to bring the sads, but well, if Amanda ever takes Lynn to court for the right to marry Paul Michael, let’s hope the dancing lobsters step in to make everything better.
