Elon Musk Wants You To #DeleteFacebook

February 12, 2020 / Posted by:

Elon Musk took time away from communicating with his and Grimes’ alleged unborn baby via AI-powered sonic unit, and decided to go after Mark Zuckerberg on Twitter with help from Sacha Baron Cohen. Elon has hated on Facebook in the past. Two years ago, he deleted all Facebook pages associated with his companies. And now he’s telling the rest of y’all to #DeleteFacebook.

CNBC says this started with SBC, who has kept his boot on Facebook’s neck for sometime now. He’s spoken out about Mark Zuckerberg’s inability to control Nazism and misinformation on Facebook. SBC called out Mark at the Golden Globes too. And last week, SBC called on the government to regulate Facebook, using a picture to compare Mark to Julius Caesar, that Greek dictator who Gretchen Wieners stabbed in the back:

That was Elon’s cue to jump in:

Megalomaniacal billionaire v. megalomaniacal billionaire is the pot, kettle, black of the 21st century.

Back in 2018, Elon let the world know in a series of tweets that Facebook “gave him the willies” and that he deleted all company pages on the platform. He also talked about still using Instagram, which is owned by Facebook. But Elon will only continue to use IG if it stays “fairly independent”:

Apparently this had a lot to do with privacy. Elon also commented on a tweet about Facebook holding on to user data. FB denied this and claimed it was an “opt-in” feature.

Well, with Elon’s hatred of Facebook seemingly growing with his calls for us to delete, I guess lil’ baby Warnymph‘s Instagram might not be up for much longer, huh? Better hop on over to IG and follow that private account to get your fill of intergalactic death knell prophecies while you still can!
