Sofia Richie Is Giving Up Her Illustrious Reality TV Career To Become An Actor

Move over Scarlett Johansson, there’s a new racially ambiguous blond coming to snatch your crown as The Only Actress In Hollywood Right Now Because Otherwise How Do We Explain This And This. That’s right, Sofia Richie’s no longer satisfied with the occasional cameo on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and she’s ready to All About Eve her ass.

According to Entertainment Tonight, beach vacations with Scott Disick and his copious Kardashian children aren’t enough to fill the creative void in her soul.

Richie spoke with ET’s Katie Krause at the opening of the Marcell Von Berlin flagship store in Los Angeles on Tuesday, where she opened up about her burgeoning acting career and revealed that she probably won’t be dropping by for any episodes of the E! reality show any time soon.

So why is Richie steering clear of the hit series?

“Well, because I want to get into acting!” Richie explained. “I feel like, for a while, I kind of held back on things because I was afraid of failure, but 2020 is [the year of] no fear! I’m gonna be doing acting stuff really soon.”

“Great things are happening and I’m really excited about it,” she added.

You heard her, acting stuff! But she’s not going to start out going full Stanislavski, she’s going to ease into it by taking roles that are similar to herself.

“The roles I’m reading for right now are kind of similar to me, so they’re easy for me to play, and I really, really enjoy it,” Richie said.

It looks like she’s already had some practice tapping into her inner-Sofia.

What an eerily lived-in performance. Maybe she’s actually been going full method for years, much like Paris Hilton.
