It Seems Like Dog The Bounty Hunter Proposed To His Late Wife’s Best Friend On “Dr. Oz”
Nobody can tell you how to process losing a loved one. Some people drink. Some people take time off to be alone. And some people date their late spouse’s closest friend. Wait, what? Well, though that may not be the most ideal option for some people, it’s an actual thing to cozy up to someone close to the person you’ve lost. And this is the case with Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman, who is allegedly dating Beth Chapman’s best friend Moon Angell seven months after her death.
I realize all of this sounds like a very bizarre episode of Jerry Springer titled “People Who Need Their Asses Kicked By Ghosts” because Beth is probably in Heaven plotting her return to repeatedly bitch slap the both of them. But according to TMZ, Dog has taken his grief and love of his deceased wife’s best friend to Dr. Oz. Dog spoke candidly about how he’s been coping with Beth’s death and one of those mechanisms involves getting with Moon Angell. Needless to say, neither of their families are into it at all.
Dog’s been rumored to be dating her for a few weeks, pissing off his daughters, who have claimed he’s lying about the relationship. It’s caused a rift in the Chapman family.
Also during the show, Dog had an epiphany while in the restroom (where 95% of epiphanies happen, just so you know) and came back to the set ready to risk it all by asking Moon Angell, who looks exactly like a Moon Angell, to marry him:
Sources connected to the show tell TMZ … he also told Moon he loved her and revealed he was talking to God in the bathroom during a break, and God told him he should propose.
However, sources close to the family tell us … the TV proposal, recorded last week, was NOT legit — he was overly emotional and got caught up in the moment. We’re told he did not give her a ring during the taping, and they are not engaged.
Clearly Dog is still deep in the mourning process but burying his bone inside Beth’s best friend is probably not going to help. Especially the next time he’s in the bathroom talking to God and Beth interrupts the conversation by dropping a ceiling tile on his head. Perhaps that will knock some sense into him so he can run to therapy instead of running to a wedding chapel and Dr. Oz.

A marriage proposal?
