Keeping That Shade Sunny: Sunny Hostin Answered “Speak To Meghan” When Asked About The Drama On “The View”

Meghan McCain has been a living nightmare in front of the cameras on The View and there’s been plenty of rumors that she’s a living nightmare behind the cameras too. The “toxic” culture of The View is reportedly the reason why Abby Huntsman left. Page Six asked Sunny Hostin about it at the opening night of A Soldier’s Play on Broadway, and she basically said that if you want to know about the rumors that Meghan is a living nightmare, ask the living nightmare herself.

Previously we’ve heard about how Meghan was awful–and seen it, she and Whoopi Goldberg have had to have on-camera “chats” at least twice now–and there were rumors that all the leaks about her dreadful behind-the-scenes persona were coming from Sunny. Well, Sunny is taking the napkin away from the phone receiver and putting that shit on speakerphone. When Page Six asked her about the drama and Abby leaving the show, she said it “is what it is,” explaining politics gets heated:

“We’re covering I think a really important time in our country and everyone is really passionate and I think we’re all on edge for the country and I think that’s what people are seeing. We’re happy for Abby, we’re sad for us of course because she did some of the lifting of our spirits and now she’s not there.”

Yes, it is sad when the buffer between you and the bad person goes away. They then asked about all the snapping and the suggestion that Meghan McCain was “rude” and Sunny replied:

“I think they should speak to Meghan (about it).”

They should–they really should. Sunny also plugged how much she loves ABC. And also how she’s able to give voice to the voiceless.”

“I think we’re all really fortunate to get paid as well as we are paid to have the platform that we have, it’s a blessing.”

Cha-ching! Sure is! Sunny bringing up the money makes sense now. Because whenever Meghan tries to check her and/or interrupts her, Sunny probably resists the urge to tackle a bitch by telling herself that she’ll soothe her nerves with a little shopping visit to Saks after the show instead.
