James Corden Has Been Exposed As A “Carpool Karaoke” FRAUD

Ronan Farrow is likely hanging his head in shame today. The most shocking story of 2020 has broken, and it wasn’t by Ronan driven by truth and justice. Although I’m sure Ronan had been compiling evidence for months on this subject. Sadly, he isn’t the person being celebrated for exposing the truth about James Corden and his Carpool Karaoke segment. Everything we know about Carpool Karaoke is a lie. Well, at least the carpool part. As it turns out, James doesn’t actually drive the car.

BuzzFeed points to a Twitter conversation that happened yesterday between two users who saw a black SUV with James Corden in the driver’s seat, and Justin Bieber in the passenger seat. Justin has appeared in numerous Carpool Karaoke segments for The Late Late Show with James Corden. And clearly he’ll be appearing in an upcoming segment. The SUV driven by James was sitting on a trailer that was being pulled by a truck rigged with filming equipment. That’s right, all this time, when James Corden has been picking up his famous friends who need a lift, he has only been pretending to drive. I cannot believe the lies.

But wait, there were some Ronan Farrows further down thread who claimed to have proof that James did drive the car at one point. Like these pictures of James filming with Katy Perry for her 2017 appearance.

James Corden has yet to address this disrespectful breach of the public’s trust, probably because he’s too busy interviewing a fixer who can make this all go away. But Ben Winston, executive producer on The Late Late Show, tweeted the following explanation for why the SUV was being pulled yesterday.

James always drives during Carpool! Sometimes when there is a stunt component and its unsafe to drive, we will use a rig. But that’s only happened 4 times in 50 or so carpools !! https://t.co/rNIuPoF3im

According to Ben, James only fakes driving when there might be a messy stunt involved. Well, Justin Bieber was in the car. But I’m still very suspicious. Because James always looks like he’s driving so well, regardless of whether it’s legit or the car is being pulled. Okay, here’s my Oliver Stone-ian conspiracy theory:

Those pictures of James driving the SUV with Katy Perry have been doctored, and they were tweeted by an undercover agent working for The Late Late Show, in an attempt to convince the public that James does sometimes drive the Carpool Karaoke car. I’m basing this off the fact that James has never once broken his friendly TV show host persona to respond to confusing Los Angeles traffic. The smoking gun will be if someone leaks a video of James singing, “Move bitch, get out the way. I’m fucking serious, move – THE LIGHT IS GREEN.”
