Pamela Anderson Got Married Yesterday To Hollywood Producer Jon Peters

Earlier last summer, 52-year-old Pamela Anderson announced she had broken up with her 34-year-old soccer-playing boyfriend Adil Rami, a breakup that was accompanied by accusations of lying, abuse, and infidelity. It was the kind of messy breakup that would have anyone running into the nearest set of arms. As it turns out, Pamela ran into the arms of her ex-boyfriend, 74-year-old Hollywood movie producer Jon Peters. And TMZ says she decided to make it a permanent thing by getting married to Jon in a private ceremony in Malibu yesterday.

This is a fifth marriage for both of them. Pam was previously married to Tommy Lee from 1995 to 1998, Kid Rock from 2006 to 2007, and Rick Salomon twice – the first in 2007, which was annulled in 2008, then again from 2014 to 2015. Jon’s first four wives include Lesley Ann Warren whom he was married to from 1967 to 1974. Fun fact! Jon married Lesley Ann Warren the same year Pamela was born. Jon was also in a long-term relationship with Barbra Streisand in the 70s and 80s.

As for how Pamela and Jon met, it’s apparently a love story that goes back three decades. Jon met a 19-year-old Pamela at the Playboy Mansion in the late-1980’s, and they eventually moved in together. A 22-year-old Pam was 43-year-old Jon’s date to the Batman premiere in 1989 (he produced Batman and Batman Returns).

Jon recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about Pam, and it sounds like she’s the one that got away (until she came back, at which point he got her again).

“Pamela has never seen her full potential as an artist. She has yet to shine in a real way. There is much more to her than meets the eye, or I wouldn’t love her so much. There are beautiful girls everywhere. I could have my pick, but for 35 years I’ve only wanted Pamela. She makes me wild – in a good way. She inspires me. I protect her and treat her the way she deserves to be treated.”

Nobody should be shocked that Jon has been pining over Pamela Anderson for the past 35 years. We have Jon to thank for that Nicolas Cage Superman movie that never happened, as well as Will Smith’s Wild Wild West. He has also called himself the Donald Trump of Hollywood. So clearly, Jon has nothing but extremely good taste. All jokes aside, Jon has produced classics like Flashdance, The Color Purple, the Clue movie, The Witches of Eastwick, and most recently the Lady Gaga version of A Star Is Born. He was also ordered to pay $3.3 million to a former assistant that accused him of sexual harassment. That’s not great news for anyone hoping that Pamela finally found a guy who won’t make you nervously tug at your collar. And Pamela kind of acknowledged this in a poem she wrote in lieu of a statement about her wedding. via THR:

Jon is the original ‘bad boy’ of Hollywood –
no one compares –
I love him deeply like family.
His life used to scare me.
So much for a girl like me.
Now I’ve seen more of life
and realize ..
He’s been there all along.
Never failed me –
I’m ready now
and
he’s ready too –
We
understand
and respect each other –
We love each other
without conditions. –
I’m a lucky woman. –
Proof
God has a plan

Let’s hope God’s plan works out well for Pamela this time. Or maybe God’s plan is for Jon to file for divorce after catching Pamela on the floor of a guest bedroom closet, Skyping with the locked-up love of her life Julian Assange. Only time, and a good WiFi signal, will tell.
