Abby Huntsman Is Leaving “The View” To Run Her Dad’s Gubernatorial Campaign

The power of Meghan “My Father” McCain has struck: Abby Huntsman is leaving The View. It seems like just last week we were reporting that Meghan had exhausted the last person on the show would would put up with her shit–apparently her and Abby no longer were friendly. Well now no one is going to even pretend to be into Meghan when the cameras aren’t rolling because Abby has removed herself from the situation. She’s taking her nepotism home and is going to run her dad’s gubernatorial election campaign in Utah.

ABC News says that today, Abby announced she’s leaving The View and soon, at that. Abby’s dad, Jon Huntsman Jr., is running for governor of Utah–the state of mormons and amazing rock formations. He was previously the Governor of Utah from 2005 to 2009 and then he was the Ambassador to China and then became the Ambassador to Russia in 2017. Well 33-year-old Abby is going to change gears and get a different job because her resume includes: “My dad is in politics”–working directly for him. Cut out the middle-man, Abby!

Abby joined The View only two seasons ago so she didn’t really last too long, I guess being talked-over by Meghan was just too much for her. If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the dragon roost. Jon apparently asked Abby for help with his campaign and then decided she should be helping run it. Over the winter hiatus from the show, she came to the decision to leave and get into the campaign game. Her last episode will be this Friday.

She was already out campaigning for her dad over the weekend:

Welp Meghan you should have tried harder to make things better with Abby, because she just got the best kind of revenge on you. Not only is she looking way more “serious” and “political” than you because she’s doing actual politics and not just shrieking about it on TV–but she done left you alone with Ana Navarro. Time to turn up the backstage hissy-fits to keep that well-spoken conservative away from your throne as Main Republican.
