Prince Harry And Duchess Meghan Could Make Hundreds Of Millions From Leaving The Royal Family

For those of you worried that soon-to-be part-time Canadian residents Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle were going to end up in some cold-water flat in Toronto, destitute, with Harry forced to dance as a go-go boy in a gay bar on Church Street to make ends meet, you’re (sadly) incorrect. People reports that Harry and Meghan’s permanent dip from full-time royal duties could actually make them hundreds of millions of dollars, according to Fox Business Network’s Trish Regan.

Trish says that Harry and Meghan could run with their own brand and rake in the bucks.

“The possibilities right now are endless for them. They need to think about what it is that they like, what they identify with and whether there’s a market for that,” Regan, 47, tells PEOPLE. “Obvious things might include a book deal if they can really provide insight into what life is like as a royal. I think there’s a lot of Americans and people throughout the world that would be very interested in that, so that would be a value. Another obvious thing might be something like a talk show.”

Can you imagine the scene when THE QUEEN is found lying dead in Buckingham Palace after dropping dead of shame from finding out that her grandson and his disruptive wife signed on to do something as common as a TALK SHOW?

According to a piece in Money from back in May, Meghan is worth $5 million, which she earned from acting jobs like Suits. And Prince Harry is worth between $25 and $40 million seeing as he comes from a family with a net worth of $88 billion. But, still, ya gotta keep hustlin’. (Do you, though?)

“They have a solid brand. It’s important that they keep their brand intact,” the FOX Business host says of couple’s beloved “wholesome family image” she believes they can market. “Opportunities that I think would be perhaps more long-lasting for them would be the creation of a brand or endorsing a certain product, or if they license their name to certain products. You can look at the success, for example, of the Kardashians, a different kind of brand, and you can look at the success of a Jessica Alba and the Honest Company.”

In other news concerning the biggest royal scandal since Prince Charles told Camilla he wanted to be her Tampax, Prince Harry’s friend JJ Chalmers told BBC’s The One Show that Harry is stepping back from his royal duties to protect his wife and son.

“He’s less the captain in the army I knew, and he’s more a father that’s the first thing I ask him about,” Chalmers, 33, said.

“And I think the decision that he has made, at the forefront of that is to protect his family, because that’s the number one rule is to be a father and to be a husband,” Chalmers said.

People reports that Harry and JJ are military buddies. JJ sez that this is really all about 8-month-old Archie, and that Harry ultimately made this decision for his kid.

“He is a very principled individual and so when he looks as how the media reacts and how social media talks about someone, he has to answer to his son one day when he begins to understand this and be able to look him in the face and say, ‘I made the right decision and I did right by you,’” Chalmers said on The One Show.

And this dude referenced Harry’s mom’s tragic death and jesus, way to get morbid and dramatic, JJ.

“And ultimately he grew up in the limelight and knows how it will end if this isn’t handled correctly,” Chalmers added, in reference to Harry’s mother Princess Diana‘s 1997 death. Diana was killed in a car crash while trying to escape the paparazzi.

So, if Archie was sitting in his pram and worried about what the future holds when they move to the wilds of Canada, he can now rest assured that they did it all for him and Mum and Dad can just shill a line of paparazzi tasers or whatever to keep him in Swiss Chalet quarter chicken dinners for life.
