Kylie Jenner Donated $1 Million To Australia Bushfire Relief Efforts After Getting Shit For An Instagram Post

Cosmopolitan says that Kylie Jenner made a $1 million donation towards helping Australia deal with the immense fires consuming their country… after everyone roasted her online. You see, first she posted how sad she was about the fires killing millions of animals. Then she posted her thousand-dollar real mink fur Louis Vuitton slippers. Then the Internet let her know how stupid she is. Then she donated the money. AKA: Philanthropy.

It started with Kylie posting to her Instagram about how sad she was about the half a billion animals who were now dead because of the wildfires ravaging Australia. Which is a sentiment anyone could get behind, but these are the Kardashian/Jenners–they have no sense and can fuck most things up. They have no rationality or even semblance of a clue as to what is really going on in the world. So guess what Kylie felt she could post right after that? About her cute $1480 Louis Vuitton real mink slippers.

So much to unpack. Mink–like you just said you’re sad about animals dying and here you are with fur from an animal on your feet who was killed because you think it’s cute and soft. Then the fact they are slippers and cost $1500? Truly Kylie Jenner puts the words “Out Of Touch” into a whole new category. But she’s not alone. It’s a fame whore family affair. A source told People that:

“That post was completely unintentional. Kylie stands behind her desire to want to help provide relief toward the devastation the fires have caused.”

So she then donated a million dollars. Cosmopolitan points out that Kim Kardashian got mad at the Internet for getting mad at her and her family for talking about climate change. A commenter wrote:

“Nothing gets me more heated than to see the Kardashians/Jenners talk about climate change/wildfires & not donate even a penny.”

To which Kim replied:

“Nothing gets me more heated than to see people think they know what we donated to and to think we have to publicize everything.”

And Khloé Kardashian piled on:

Ah yes, the people who have made their entire fortunes and careers off of “publicizing everything” and who have generated publicity and ad revenue from exposing their whole existences don’t “need” to be “BOASTFUL” and show off all the good deeds they do. THOSE PEOPLE. Meanwhile, did you know eating your own shit cures disease? No? Good, you aren’t brain dead.
